عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ:قَّامَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَھْلِ الْمَدِینَۃِ بِالْمَدِینَۃِ فِی الْمَسْجِدِ، فَقَالَ:یَا رَسُولَ اللہِ، مِنْ أَیْنَ تَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نُھ،لَّ؟ قَالَ:((یُھلُّ أَھْلُ الْمَدِینَۃِ مِنْ ذِی الْحُلَیْفَۃِ، وَیُھِلُّ أَھْلُ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَۃِ، وَیُھِلُّ بَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْن))۔ قَالَ لِی نَافِعٌ:وَیَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ النَّبِیُّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:((یُھِلُّ أَھْلُ الْیَمَنِ مِنْ یَلَمْلَمَ))۔
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 759
On the authority of Ibn Omar, he said: A man from among the people of the cities made cities in the mosque, and he said: O Messenger of God, from where to where? He said: ((The people of the cities owe from the sword, and the people of the Levant marvel from Al-Jahf, and the people of a century are exalted)) Nafi told me: They claim that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: (The people of Yemen will be glad of those who know))۔
