قَالَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللہِ: کُنَّامَعَ رَسُولِ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ زَمَانَ غَزْوَۃِ تَبُوکَ، وَرَسُولُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیہِ وَسَلَّمَ یَسِیرُ بَعْدَ أَنْ أَضْحی إِذْ ھُوَ بِجَمَاعَۃً فِی ظِلّ شَجَرَۃِ، فَقَالَ:((مَا ھَذِہِ الْجَمَاعَۃُ؟))۔قَالُوا: رَجُلٌ صَائِمٌ، أَجْھَدَہُ الصَّوْمُ أَوْ کَلِمَۃً نَحْوَھَا۔ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ:((لَیْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصَّوْمُ فِی السَّفَرِ))۔

Said Jaber bin Abdul Allہ: کnama Messenger Allہ peace Allہ Alیہ him time Gzoۃ Tboک, Messenger Allہ peace Allہ Alیہ him go after the sacrifice as it is Bjmaaۃ under Hjrۃ, he said: ((What ھzہ Aljmaaۃ?)). They said a man fasting, Fasting or stressing the fast towards it۔ The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “There is no righteous fasting on the journey”
