عَنْ أَبِی بَکْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّ النَّبِیَّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ النَّاسَ فِی سَفَرِہِ عَامَ الْفَتْح، بِالْفِطْرِ، وَقَالَ:(تَقَوَّوْا لِعَدُ وِّکُمْ))، وَصَامَ النَّبِیُّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ۔قَالَ:أَبُوبَکْرِ، یَعْنِی:ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ الَّذِی حَدَّثَنِی: لَقَدْ رَأَیْتُ النَّبِیَّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْعَرْجِ یَصُبُّ عَلَی رَأْسِہِ الْمَاءَ مِنَ الْعَطَشِ أَوْ مِنَ الْحَرِّ،فَقَیلَ: یَا رَسُولَ اللہِ، إِنَّ طَائِفَۃً مِنَ النَّاسِ صَامُوا حِینَ صُمْتَ، فَلَمَّا کَانَ رَسُولُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْکَدِیدِ دَعَا بِقَدَحٍ فَشَرِبَ فَأَفْطَرَ النَّاسُ
