Sunan Ibn Majah

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ عَبَّادٍ أَبِي هُبَيْرَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَبَلَّغَهَا فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ غَيْرِ فَقِيهٍ وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَی مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ زَادَ فِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثَلَاثٌ لَا يُغِلُّ عَلَيْهِنَّ قَلْبُ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ إِخْلَاصُ الْعَمَلِ لِلَّهِ وَالنُّصْحُ لِأَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَلُزُومُ جَمَاعَتِهِمْ

It was narrated from Zaid bin Thâbit that the Messenger of Allah p.b.u.h said: “May Allah cause his face ro shine, the man who hears what I say and conveys it (to others). hpvc are those who have owleage but no understanding, cl there may be those who unvey knowledge to those who ye more understanding of it than (One of the narrators) ‘Ali bin Muhammad added to it: “There are three things because of which hatred does not enter the heart of a Muslim: Sincerity in doing an action for the sake of Allah; being sincere towards the rulers of the Muslims; and adhering to the Jizmd’ah (main body) of the Muslims.” (Hasan)

Muhammad bin Jubair bin Mut’im narrated that his father said: “The Messenger of Allah ta stood up at Khaif in Mina and said: ‘May Allah cause his face to shine, the man who hears what I say and conveys it (to others). There are those who have knowledge but no understanding, and there may be those who convey knowledge to those who have more understanding of it than they do.” (Hasan) Other chains with similar wording.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاکٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا فَبَلَّغَهُ فَرُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَحْفَظُ مِنْ سَامِعٍ

‘AbdurRahman bin ‘Abdullâ p.b.u.h narrated from his father that the Prophet said: “May Allah cause his face to shine, the man who hears a Hadith from us and conveys it, for perhaps the one to whom it is conveyed may remember it better than the one who (first) hears it”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ أَمْلَاهُ عَلَيْنَا حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَکْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَعَنْ رَجُلٍ آخَرَ هُوَ أَفْضَلُ فِي نَفْسِي مِنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي بَکْرَةَ قَالَ خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ فَقَالَ لِيُبَلِّغْ الشَّاهِدُ الْغَائِبَ فَإِنَّهُ رُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ يَبْلُغُهُ أَوْعَی لَهُ مِنْ سَامِعٍ

It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said: “The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H delivered a religious speech on the Day of Sacrifice and Said: ‘Let those who are present convey to those who are absent. For perhaps the one to whom it is tonveyed will understand it better – the one who (first) hears it.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ح و حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ أَنْبَأَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَکِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْقُشَيْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا لِيُبَلِّغْ الشَّاهِدُ الْغَائِبَ

Bahz bin Hakim narrated from his father that his grandfather Mu’áwiyah AlQushairi said: “The Messenger of Allah p.b.u.h said: ‘Let the one who is present convey to the one who is absent.’” (Hasan)

جَدِّهِ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْقُشَيْرِيِّ ← أَبِيهِ ← بهز بن حكيم ← النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، ← إِسْحَقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ← و، ← أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ← أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي قُدَامَةُ بْنُ مُوسَی عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ التَّمِيمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَلْقَمَةَ مَوْلَی ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ يَسَارٍ مَوْلَی ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِيُبَلِّغْ شَاهِدُکُمْ غَائِبَکُمْ

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: “Let those of you who are present convey it to those of you who are absent.” (Da’if)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُبَشِّرُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ الْحَلَبِيُّ عَنْ مُعَانِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ بُخْتٍ الْمَکِّيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَوَعَاهَا ثُمَّ بَلَّغَهَا عَنِّي فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ غَيْرِ فَقِيهٍ وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَی مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ

It was narrated that Anas bin Mâlik said: “The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: ‘May Allah cause to flourish a slave (of His) who hears my words and understands them, then he conveys theirt from me. There are those who have knowledge but no understanding, and there may be those who convey knowledge to those who have more understanding of it than they do.” (Hasan)
