حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَقِيلٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنِي رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ وَعَطِيَّةُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ السَّعْدِيِّ وَکَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَبْلُغُ الْعَبْدُ أَنْ يَکُونَ مِنْ الْمُتَّقِينَ حَتَّی يَدَعَ مَا لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ حَذَرًا لِمَا بِهِ الْبَأْسُ

It was narrated from 'Atiyyah As-Sa'di. who was one of the Companions of the Prophet , that the Messenger of Allah p.b.u.h said: "A person will not reach the status of being one of those who have piety until he refrains from doing something in which there is no sin, for fear of falling into something in which there is sin." (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ حَمْزَةَ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُغِيثُ بْنُ سُمَيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ قِيلَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ کُلُّ مَخْمُومِ الْقَلْبِ صَدُوقِ اللِّسَانِ قَالُوا صَدُوقُ اللِّسَانِ نَعْرِفُهُ فَمَا مَخْمُومُ الْقَلْبِ قَالَ هُوَ التَّقِيُّ النَّقِيُّ لَا إِثْمَ فِيهِ وَلَا بَغْيَ وَلَا غِلَّ وَلَا حَسَدَ

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Amr said: "It was said to the Messenger of Allah which of the people is best?' He said: 'Everyone who is pure of heart and sincere of speech.' They if said: 'Sincere of speech, we know what this is, but what is pure of heart? He said: 'It is (the heart) that is pious and pure, with no sin,injustice, rancor or envy in it.'' (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِي رَجَائٍ عَنْ بُرْدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ مَکْحُولٍ عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ کُنْ وَرِعًا تَکُنْ أَعْبَدَ النَّاسِ وَکُنْ قَنِعًا تَکُنْ أَشْکَرَ النَّاسِ وَأَحِبَّ لِلنَّاسِ مَا تُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِکَ تَکُنْ مُؤْمِنًا وَأَحْسِنْ جِوَارَ مَنْ جَاوَرَکَ تَکُنْ مُسْلِمًا وَأَقِلَّ الضَّحِکَ فَإِنَّ کَثْرَةَ الضَّحِکِ تُمِيتُ الْقَلْبَ

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah p.b.u.h said: '"0 Abu Hurairah, be cautious, and you will be the most devoted of people to Allah. Be content, and you will be the most grateful of people to Allah. Love for people what you love for yourself, and you will be a (true) believer. Be a good neighbor to your neighbors, and you will be a (true) Muslim. And laugh little, for laughing a lot deadens the heart." (Da'if)

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ رُمْحٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ الْمَاضِي بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا عَقْلَ کَالتَّدْبِيرِ وَلَا وَرَعَ کَالْکَفِّ وَلَا حَسَبَ کَحُسْنِ الْخُلُقِ

It was narrated from Abu Dharr that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: "There is no wisdom like reflection, no caution like restraint, and no honor like good manners." (Da'if)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَلَّامُ بْنُ أَبِي مُطِيعٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدَبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْحَسَبُ الْمَالُ وَالْکَرَمُ التَّقْوَی

It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab that the Massenger of Allah p.b.u.h said "Being honorable is wealth and noble character is piety: (Hasan)

سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ← الْحَسَنُ، ← قَتَادَةَ ← سَلاَّمُ بْنُ أَبِي مُطِيعٍ، ← يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ،

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ کَهْمَسِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي السَّلِيلِ ضُرَيْبِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي لَأَعْرِفُ کَلِمَةً وَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ آيَةً لَوْ أَخَذَ النَّاسُ کُلُّهُمْ بِهَا لَکَفَتْهُمْ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيَّةُ آيَةٍ قَالَ وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا

It was narrated from Abu Dharr that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: "I know a word – (one of the narrators) 'Uthman said: "a Verse" – which if all the people followed it, it would suffice them." They said: "0 Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H, which Verse?" He said: "And whosoever fears Allah, He will make a way out for him:' (Da'if)
