حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو کُرَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي السَّفَرِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ مَرَّ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ نُعَالِجُ خُصًّا لَنَا فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا فَقُلْتُ خُصٌّ لَنَا وَهَی نَحْنُ نُصْلِحُهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا أُرَی الْأَمْرَ إِلَّا أَعْجَلَ مِنْ ذَلِکَ

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Amr said: "The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H passed by us we were fixing a hut of ours, and said: 'What is this?' It is a hut of ours that has fallen into disreparr, and we are fixing it.` The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'The matter (of death) may come sooner than that.'''(sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَی بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَی بْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَقُ بْنُ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقُبَّةٍ عَلَی بَابِ رَجُلٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ مَا هَذِهِ قَالُوا قُبَّةٌ بَنَاهَا فُلَانٌ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کُلُّ مَالٍ يَکُونُ هَکَذَا فَهُوَ وَبَالٌ عَلَی صَاحِبِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَبَلَغَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ ذَلِکَ فَوَضَعَهَا فَمَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدُ فَلَمْ يَرَهَا فَسَأَلَ عَنْهَا فَأُخْبِرَ أَنَّهُ وَضَعَهَا لِمَا بَلَغَهُ عَنْکَ فَقَالَ يَرْحَمُهُ اللَّهُ يَرْحَمُهُ اللَّهُ

It was narrated that Anas said: "The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H passed by a dome-shaped structure at the door of a man among the Ansar and said: 'What is this?' They said: 'A dome that was built by so-and-so: The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'All wealth that is like this (extravagant) will bring evil consequences to its owner on the Day of Resurrection.' News of that reached the Ansari, so he demolished it. Then the Prophet P.B.U.H passed by (that place) later on and did not see it. He asked about it and was told that its owner had demolished it because of what he had heard from him. He said: May Allah have mercy on him, May Allah have mercy on him."(Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بِنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَنَيْتُ بَيْتًا يُکِنُّنِي مِنْ الْمَطَرِ وَيُکِنُّنِي مِنْ الشَّمْسِ مَا أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ خَلْقُ اللَّهِ تَعَالَی

It was narrated that Ibn 'umar said: "I had built a house to shelter me from the rain and the sun, during the time of Allah's Messenger P.B.U.H , and no creature of Allah helped me in building it.(Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَی حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيکٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّبٍ قَالَ أَتَيْنَا خَبَّابًا نَعُودُهُ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ طَالَ سَقْمِي وَلَوْلَا أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا تَتَمَنَّوْا الْمَوْتَ لَتَمَنَّيْتُهُ وَقَالَ إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ لَيُؤْجَرُ فِي نَفَقَتِهِ کُلِّهَا إِلَّا فِي التُّرَابِ أَوْ قَالَ فِي الْبِنَائِ

It was narrated that Harithah bin Mudarrib said: "We came to Khabbab to visit him (when he was sick), and he said: 'I have been sick for a long time, and were it not that I heard the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H say: "Do not wish for death," I would have wished for it.' And he said: "A person will be rewarded for all his spending, except for (what he spends) on dust," or he said, fI on building." (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي تَمِيمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَوْ أَنَّکُمْ تَوَکَّلْتُمْ عَلَی اللَّهِ حَقَّ تَوَکُّلِهِ لَرَزَقَکُمْ کَمَا يَرْزُقُ الطَّيْرَ تَغْدُو خِمَاصًا وَتَرُوحُ بِطَانًا

'Umar said: ."I heard the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H say: If you were to rely upon Allah with the reliance He is due, you would be given provision like the birds: They go out hungry in the morning and come back with full bellies in the evening." (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ سَلَّامِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ أَبِي شُرَحْبِيلَ عَنْ حَبَّةَ وَسَوَائٍ ابْنَيْ خَالِدٍ قَالَا دَخَلْنَا عَلَی النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُعَالِجُ شَيْئًا فَأَعَنَّاهُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ لَا تَيْئَسَا مِنْ الرِّزْقِ مَا تَهَزَّزَتْ رُئُوسُکُمَا فَإِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ تَلِدُهُ أُمُّهُ أَحْمَرَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ قِشْرٌ ثُمَّ يَرْزُقُهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

It was narrated that Habbah and Sawa', the two daughters of KhaIid, said: "We entered upon the Prophet P.B.U.H When he was doing something, so we helped him with it. Then he said: 'Do not despair of' provision so long as your heads are still moving, for a person's mother bears him red with raw skin,then Allah provides for him." (Da'if)

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو شُعَيْبٍ صَالِحُ بْنُ زُرَيْقٍ الْعَطَّارُ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُمَحِيُّ عَنْ مُوسَی بْنِ عُلَيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ مِنْ قَلْبِ ابْنِ آدَمَ بِکُلِّ وَادٍ شُعْبَةً فَمَنْ اتَّبَعَ قَلْبُهُ الشُّعَبَ کُلَّهَا لَمْ يُبَالِ اللَّهُ بِأَيِّ وَادٍ أَهْلَکَهُ وَمَنْ تَوَکَّلَ عَلَی اللَّهِ کَفَاهُ التَّشَعُّبَ

.It was narrated from 'Amr bin 'As that the Messenger of ' Allah P.B.U.H said: "The heart of the son of Adam has an inclination towards every desirable thing, so whoever follows all of those inclinations, Allah will not care which one will cause his doom. And whoever relies upon Allah, Allah will protect him from the pain of scattered inclinations." (Da'if)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَمُوتَنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْکُمْ إِلَّا وَهُوَ يُحْسِنُ الظَّنَّ بِاللَّهِ

It was narrated that Jâbir said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H say: ‘No one of you should die except thinking positively of Allah.” (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْقَوِيُّ خَيْرٌ وَأَحَبُّ إِلَی اللَّهِ مِنْ الْمُؤْمِنِ الضَّعِيفِ وَفِي کُلٍّ خَيْرٌ احْرِصْ عَلَی مَا يَنْفَعُکَ وَلَا تَعْجِزْ فَإِنْ غَلَبَکَ أَمْرٌ فَقُلْ قَدَرُ اللَّهِ وَمَا شَائَ فَعَلَ وَإِيَّاکَ وَاللَّوْ فَإِنَّ اللَّوْ تَفْتَحُ عَمَلَ الشَّيْطَانِ

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said, attributing it to the Prophet P.B.U.H: "The stronger believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, Although both are good. Strive to seek that which will benefit you and do not feel helpless. If something overwhelms you, then say: Qadarulah, wa ma sha fa`al (It is the decree of Allah and what He wills He does). And beware of (saying) 'If only, for If only opens the door to Satan." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْکَلِمَةُ الْحِکْمَةُ ضَالَّةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ حَيْثُمَا وَجَدَهَا فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: .A wise word is the lost property of the believer, so Wherever he finds it, he has more right to it." (Da'if)

حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَی عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نِعْمَتَانِ مَغْبُونٌ فِيهِمَا کَثِيرٌ مِنْ النَّاسِ الصِّحَّةُ وَالْفَرَاغُ

It was narrated from Abdullah bin Sa'eed bin Abu Hind that his father said: "I heard Ibn 'Abbas saying that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'Two blessings which many people squander: Good health and leisure:" (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ مَوْلَی أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ جَائَ رَجُلٌ إِلَی النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عَلِّمْنِي وَأَوْجِزْ قَالَ إِذَا قُمْتَ فِي صَلَاتِکَ فَصَلِّ صَلَاةَ مُوَدِّعٍ وَلَا تَکَلَّمْ بِکَلَامٍ تَعْتَذِرُ مِنْهُ وَأَجْمِعْ الْيَأْسَ عَمَّا فِي أَيْدِي النَّاسِ

It was narrated that Abu Ayyub said: "A man came to the Prophet P.B.U.H and said: '0 Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H, teach me but make it concise.' He said: 'When you stand to pray, pray like a man bidding farewell. Do not say anything for which you will have to apologize. And give up hope for what other people have.": (Hasan)
