حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي وَوَکِيعٌ ح و حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِي يَعْلَی وَوَکِيعٌ وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ کُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَظَرَ إِلَی الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ قَالَ إِنَّکُمْ سَتَرَوْنَ رَبَّکُمْ کَمَا تَرَوْنَ هَذَا الْقَمَرَ لَا تَضَامُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنْ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ لَا تُغْلَبُوا عَلَی صَلَاةٍ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا فَافْعَلُوا ثُمَّ قَرَأَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّکَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوبِ

It was narrated that Jarir bin Abdullâh said: “We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H). He looked at the moon, which was full, and said, ‘Indeed, you will see your Lord as you see this moon. You will not feel the slightest inconvenience and overcrowding in seeing Him. If you have the power not to be overcome and to say this prayer before the sun rises and before it sets, then do that.’ Then he recited: “And glorify the praises of your Lord, before the rising of the sun and before (its) setting.” (Sahik)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ عِيسَی الرَّمْلِيُّ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَضَامُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَةِ الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ قَالُوا لَا قَالَ فَکَذَلِکَ لَا تَضَامُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَةِ رَبِّکُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah p.b.u.h said: ‘Do you crowd one another in order to see the moon on the night when it is full?’ They said: ‘No’ He said: ‘And you will not crowd one another in order to see your Lord on the Day of Resurrection.” (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَائِ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَرَی رَبَّنَا قَالَ تَضَامُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَةِ الشَّمْسِ فِي الظَّهِيرَةِ فِي غَيْرِ سَحَابٍ قُلْنَا لَا قَالَ فَتَضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَةِ الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ فِي غَيْرِ سَحَابٍ قَالُوا لَا قَالَ إِنَّکُمْ لَا تَضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِ إِلَّا کَمَا تَضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِمَا

It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed said: “We said: ‘0 Messenger of Allah p.b.u.h Will we see our Lord?’ He said: ‘Do you crowd one another to see the sun at midday when there are no clouds?’ We said: ‘No.’ He said: ‘Do you crowd one another to see the moon on the night when it is hill and there are no clouds?’ We said: ‘No.’ He said: u will not crowd one another to see Him, just as you do not crowd o see these two things.’” (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَی بْنِ عَطَائٍ عَنْ وَکِيعِ بْنِ حُدُسٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَرَی اللَّهَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَا آيَةُ ذَلِکَ فِي خَلْقِهِ قَالَ يَا أَبَا رَزِينٍ أَلَيْسَ کُلُّکُمْ يَرَی الْقَمَرَ مُخْلِيًا بِهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ بَلَی قَالَ فَاللَّهُ أَعْظَمُ وَذَلِکَ آيَةٌ فِي خَلْقِهِ

Waki’ bin Hudus narrated his paternal uncle Abu Razin “I said: ‘0 Messenger of will we see Allah on the day of Resurrection? And what is the sign of that in His creation?’ said: ‘0 Abu Razin, do each of you not see the moon individually? I said: ‘Of course.’ He said: ‘Allah is Greater, and that is His sign in His creation.’’ (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَی بْنِ عَطَائٍ عَنْ وَکِيعِ بْنِ حُدُسٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ضَحِکَ رَبُّنَا مِنْ قُنُوطِ عِبَادِهِ وَقُرْبِ غِيَرِهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَوَ يَضْحَکُ الرَّبُّ قَالَ نَعَمْ قُلْتُ لَنْ نَعْدَمَ مِنْ رَبٍّ يَضْحَکُ خَيْرًا

Waki’ bin Hudus narrated that his paternal uncle Abu Razin said: “The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Allah laughs at the despair of His slaves although He soon changes it. I said: ‘0 Messenger of Allah, does the Lord laugh?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘We shall never be deprived of good by a Lord Who laughs.’“(Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَی بْنِ عَطَائٍ عَنْ وَکِيعِ بْنِ حُدُسٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيْنَ کَانَ رَبُّنَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ خَلْقَهُ قَالَ کَانَ فِي عَمَائٍ مَا تَحْتَهُ هَوَائٌ وَمَا فَوْقَهُ هَوَائٌ وَمَا ثَمَّ خَلْقٌ عَرْشُهُ عَلَی الْمَائِ

Waki’ bin Hudus narrated that his paternal uncle Abu Razin said: “I said: ‘0 Messenger of Allah, where was our Lord before He created His creation?’ He said: He was above the clouds, below which was air, and above which was air arid water. Then He created His Throne above the water.’” (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ مُحْرِزٍ الْمَازِنِيِّ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ إِذْ عَرَضَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا ابْنَ عُمَرَ کَيْفَ سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَذْکُرُ فِي النَّجْوَی قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يُدْنَی الْمُؤْمِنُ مِنْ رَبِّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّی يَضَعَ عَلَيْهِ کَنَفَهُ ثُمَّ يُقَرِّرُهُ بِذُنُوبِهِ فَيَقُولُ هَلْ تَعْرِفُ فَيَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ أَعْرِفُ حَتَّی إِذَا بَلَغَ مِنْهُ مَا شَائَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَبْلُغَ قَالَ إِنِّي سَتَرْتُهَا عَلَيْکَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَأَنَا أَغْفِرُهَا لَکَ الْيَوْمَ قَالَ ثُمَّ يُعْطَی صَحِيفَةَ حَسَنَاتِهِ أَوْ کِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ قَالَ وَأَمَّا الْکَافِرُ أَوْ الْمُنَافِقُ فَيُنَادَی عَلَی رُئُوسِ الْأَشْهَادِ قَالَ خَالِدٌ فِي الْأَشْهَادِ شَيْئٌ مِنْ انْقِطَاعٍ هَؤُلَائِ الَّذِينَ کَذَبُوا عَلَی رَبِّهِمْ أَلَا لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَی الظَّالِمِينَ

It was narrated that Safwân bin Muhriz Al-Mâzini said: “We were with ‘Abdullâh bin ‘Umar when he was circumambulating the House; a man came up to him and said: ‘0 Ibn ‘Umar, what did you hear the Messenger of Allah p.b.u.h say about the Najwa?’ He said: ‘I heard the Messenger of Allah p.b.u.h say: ‘On the Day of Resurrection, the believer will be brought close to his Lord until He will cover him with His screen, then He will make him confess his sins. He will ask hint “Do you confess?” He will say: “0 Lord, I confess.” This will continue as long as AJlah wills, then He will say: “I concealed them for you in the world, and I forgive you for them today.” Then he will be given the scroll of his good deeds, or his record, in his right hand. But as for the disbeliever or the hypocrite, sins) will be announced before the witnesses.’” (One of the narrators) Khalid said: “At: ‘before the witnesses’ there is something missing. “These are the ones who lied against their Lord!’ No doubt! the curse of Allah is on the wrongdoers.” (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِکِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ الْعَبَّادَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ الرَّقَاشِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْکَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَا أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ فِي نَعِيمِهِمْ إِذْ سَطَعَ لَهُمْ نُورٌ فَرَفَعُوا رُئُوسَهُمْ فَإِذَا الرَّبُّ قَدْ أَشْرَفَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ فَقَالَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْکُمْ يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ وَذَلِکَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ سَلَامٌ قَوْلًا مِنْ رَبٍّ رَحِيمٍ قَالَ فَيَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَيَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيْهِ فَلَا يَلْتَفِتُونَ إِلَی شَيْئٍ مِنْ النَّعِيمِ مَا دَامُوا يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيْهِ حَتَّی يَحْتَجِبَ عَنْهُمْ وَيَبْقَی نُورُهُ وَبَرَکَتُهُ عَلَيْهِمْ فِي دِيَارِهِمْ

It was narrated that Jabir bin ‘Abdulláh said: “The Messenger of Allah p.b.u.h said: ‘While the people of Paradise are enjoying their blessings, a light will shine upon them, and they will raise their heads, and they will see their Lord looking down upon them from above. He will say: “Peace be upon you, 0 people of Paradise.” This is what Allah says in the Verse: “ Salam (peace be on you) — a Word from the Lord (Allah), Most Merciful.” He will look at them and they will look at Him, and they will not pay any attention to the delights (of Paradise) so long as they look at Him, until He will screen Himself from them. But His light and blessing will remain with them in their abodes,” (Da’if)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ عَنْ عَدِيِّ ابْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْکُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا سَيُکَلِّمُهُ رَبُّهُ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُ تَرْجُمَانٌ فَيَنْظُرُ مِنْ عَنْ أَيْمَنَ مِنْهُ فَلَا يَرَی إِلَّا شَيْئًا قَدَّمَهُ ثُمَّ يَنْظُرُ مِنْ عَنْ أَيْسَرَ مِنْهُ فَلَا يَرَی إِلَّا شَيْئًا قَدَّمَهُ ثُمَّ يَنْظُرُ أَمَامَهُ فَتَسْتَقْبِلُهُ النَّارُ فَمَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْکُمْ أَنْ يَتَّقِيَ النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ فَلْيَفْعَلْ

It was narrated that ‘Adi bin Hätim said: “The Messenger of Allah said: ‘There is no one among you but his Lord will speak to him without any intermediary between them. He will look to his right and will not see anything but that which he sent forth. He will look to his left and will not see anything but that which he sent forth. Then he will look in front of him and will be faced with the Fire. So whoever among you can protect himself from the Fire, even by means of half a date, let him do so.” (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي بَکْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَنَّتَانِ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ آنِيَتُهُمَا وَمَا فِيهِمَا وَجَنَّتَانِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ آنِيَتُهُمَا وَمَا فِيهِمَا وَمَا بَيْنَ الْقَوْمِ وَبَيْنَ أَنْ يَنْظُرُوا إِلَی رَبِّهِمْ تَبَارَکَ وَتَعَالَی إِلَّا رِدَائُ الْکِبْرِيَائِ عَلَی وَجْهِهِ فِي جَنَّةِ عَدْنٍ

Abu Bakr bin Qais AlAsh’ari narrated that his father said: “The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: ‘Two gardens of silver, their vessels and everything in them; and two gardens of gold, their vessels and everything in them, and nothing between the people and their seeing their Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, except the Veil of Pride covering His Face in the Garden of Eden (Jannat ‘Adn).” (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَی عَنْ صُهَيْبٍ قَالَ تَلَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا الْحُسْنَی وَزِيَادَةٌ وَقَالَ إِذَا دَخَلَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَهْلُ النَّارِ النَّارَ نَادَی مُنَادٍ يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ إِنَّ لَکُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مَوْعِدًا يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُنْجِزَکُمُوهُ فَيَقُولُونَ وَمَا هُوَ أَلَمْ يُثَقِّلْ اللَّهُ مَوَازِينَنَا وَيُبَيِّضْ وُجُوهَنَا وَيُدْخِلْنَا الْجَنَّةَ وَيُنْجِنَا مِنْ النَّارِ قَالَ فَيَکْشِفُ الْحِجَابَ فَيَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيْهِ فَوَاللَّهِ مَا أَعَطَاهُمْ اللَّهُ شَيْئًا أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِمْ مِنْ النَّظَرِ يَعْنِي إِلَيْهِ وَلَا أَقَرَّ لِأَعْيُنِهِمْ

It was narrated that Suhaib said: “The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H recited this Verse: ‘For those who he said: ‘When the people of Paradise enter Paradise, and the people of the Fire enter the Fire, a caller will cry out: “0 people of Paradise! You have a covenant with Allah and He wants to fulfill it.” They will say: “What is it? Has Allah not made the Balance (of our good deeds) heavy, and made our faces bright, and admitted us to Paradise and have done good is the best reward and even more.’’ Then saved us from Hell?” Then the Veil will be lifted and they will look upon Him, and by Allah, Allah will not give them anything that is more beloved to them or more delightful, than looking upon Him.” (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي وَسِعَ سَمْعُهُ الْأَصْوَاتَ لَقَدْ جَائَتْ الْمُجَادِلَةُ إِلَی النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا فِي نَاحِيَةِ الْبَيْتِ تَشْکُو زَوْجَهَا وَمَا أَسْمَعُ مَا تَقُولُ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ قَدْ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ قَوْلَ الَّتِي تُجَادِلُکَ فِي زَوْجِهَا

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “Praise is to Allah Whose hearing encompasses all voices. The woman who disputed concerning her husband (Al-Mujadilah) came to the Prophet p.b.u.h when I was (sitting) in a corner of the house, and she complained about her husband, but I did not hear what she said. Then Allah revealed: ‘Indeed Allah has heard the statement of her that disputes with you concerning her husband.” (Sahih)
