حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَدْخُلُ الْمَلَائِکَةُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ کَلْبٌ وَلَا صُورَةٌ

It was narrated from Abu Talhah that the Prophet P.B.U.H said: "The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُدْرِکٍ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُجَيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ الْمَلَائِکَةَ لَا تَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ کَلْبٌ وَلَا صُورَةٌ

It was narrated from Ali bin Abu Tâlib that the Prophet P.B.U.H Said: “The angels do not enter house in which there is a dog or an image." (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ وَاعَدَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام فِي سَاعَةٍ يَأْتِيهِ فِيهَا فَرَاثَ عَلَيْهِ فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِجِبْرِيلَ قَائِمٌ عَلَی الْبَابِ فَقَالَ مَا مَنَعَکَ أَنْ تَدْخُلَ قَالَ إِنَّ فِي الْبَيْتِ کَلْبًا وَإِنَّا لَا نَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ کَلْبٌ وَلَا صُورَةٌ

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "Jibril (A.S) promised the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H that he would corne to him at a certain hour, but he was late. The Prophet P.B.U.H went out and there was Jibril standing at the door. He said: 'What kept you from entering?' He said: 'There is a dog in the house, and we do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image:" (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ حَدَّثَنَا عُفَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَتَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ زَوْجَهَا فِي بَعْضِ الْمَغَازِي فَاسْتَأْذَنَتْهُ أَنْ تُصَوِّرَ فِي بَيْتِهَا نَخْلَةً فَمَنَعَهَا أَوْ نَهَاهَا

It was narrated from Abu Umâmah that a woman came to the Prophet and told him that her husband was away on some military campaign. She asked him for permission to make an image of a palm tree in her house, and he did not let her, or he forbade her.
