حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْحُمَّی مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَائِ

It was narrated from 'Aishah tha the Prophet P.B.U.H said: "Fever is from the heat of the Hell-fire, so cool it down with water." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحُمَّی مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَائِ

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet P.B.U.H said: If Intense fever is from the heat of Hell-fire, so cool it down with water." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْحُمَّی مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَائِ فَدَخَلَ عَلَی ابْنٍ لِعَمَّارٍ فَقَالَ اکْشِفْ الْبَاسْ رَبَّ النَّاسْ إِلَهَ النَّاسْ

It was narrated that Rafi' bin Khadij said: "I heard the Prophet P.B.U.H say: 'Fever is from the heat of the Hell-fire, so cool it down with water.' He entered upon a son of 'Ammar and said: 'Take away the harm, a Lord of mankind , a God of mankind."

رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ، ← عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ، ← سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ ← اِسْرَائِیْلُ ← مُصْعَبُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ،

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَائَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَکْرٍ أَنَّهَا کَانَتْ تُؤْتَی بِالْمَرْأَةِ الْمَوْعُوکَةِ فَتَدْعُو بِالْمَائِ فَتَصُبُّهُ فِي جَيْبِهَا وَتَقُولُ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَائِ وَقَالَ إِنَّهَا مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ

It was narrated from Asma' bint Abu Bakr that a woman suffering from fever would be brought to her, and she would call for water and pour It onto the neck of her garment. She said: The prophet said: "Cool it down with water," and he said: "It is from the heat of Hell-fire." (Sahih)

أَسْمَائَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَکْرٍ ← فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ ← هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، ← عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ← أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ يَحْيَی بْنُ خَلَفٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَی عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْحُمَّی کِيرٌ مِنْ کِيرِ جَهَنَّمَ فَنَحُّوهَا عَنْکُمْ بِالْمَائِ الْبَارِدِ

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: "Fever is one of the bellows of Hell, so avert it from yourselves with cold water'." (Hasan)
