حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْأَزْهَرِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيکٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ مَنْ يَأْکُلُ الْغُرَابَ وَقَدْ سَمَّاهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاسِقًا وَاللَّهِ مَا هُوَ مِنْ الطَّيِّبَاتِ

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: "Who eats crows? The Messenger of Allah called them vermin, By Allah, they are not from among the good and permissible things."

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَکْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْحَيَّةُ فَاسِقَةٌ وَالْعَقْرَبُ فَاسِقَةٌ وَالْفَأْرَةُ فَاسِقَةٌ وَالْغُرَابُ فَاسِقٌ فَقِيلَ لِلْقَاسِمِ أَيُؤْکَلُ الْغُرَابُ قَالَ مَنْ يَأْکُلُهُ بَعْدَ قَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاسِقًا

It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah said: "Snakes are vermin, scorpions are vermin, mice are vermin and crows are vermin." It was said to Qasim (one of the narrators): "Does anyone eat crows?" He said: "Who would eat them, after the Messenger of Allah said that they are vermin?"
