حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاکُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَی حَدَّثَنَا مَالِکُ بْنُ يُخَامِرَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَاتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ فُوَاقَ نَاقَةٍ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

Mu'adh bin Jabal narrated that he heard the Prophet P.B.U.H say: "Any Muslim who fights in the cause of Allah for the time between two milkings of a shecamel, he will be guaranteed Paradise." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا دَيْلَمُ بْنُ غَزْوَانَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ قَالَ حَضَرْتُ حَرْبًا فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَوَاحَةَ يَا نَفْسِ أَلَا أَرَاکِ تَکْرَهِينَ الْجَنَّهْ أَحْلِفُ بِاللَّهِ لَتَنْزِلِنَّهْ طَائِعَةً أَوْ لَتُکْرَهِنَّهْ

It was narrated that Anas bin Mâlik said: “I was present in war, and ‘Abdullâh bin Rawâhah said: ‘0 soul of mine! I see that you do not want to go to Paradise. I swear by Allah that you surely will enter it, willingly or unwillingly.” (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَی بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ ذَکْوَانَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَسَةَ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ الْجِهَادِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ مَنْ أُهَرِيقَ دَمُهُ وَعُقِرَ جَوَادُهُ

It was narrated that' Amr bin 'Abasah said: "I came to the Prophet and said: '0 Messenger of Allah, which Jihad is best?' He said: '(That of a man) whose blood is shed and his horse is wounded.''' (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ آدَمَ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَی حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَکِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْ مَجْرُوحٍ يُجْرَحُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ يُجْرَحُ فِي سَبِيلِهِ إِلَّا جَائَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَجُرْحُهُ کَهَيْئَتِهِ يَوْمَ جُرِحَ اللَّوْنُ لَوْنُ دَمٍ وَالرِّيحُ رِيحُ مِسْکٍ

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: "There is no one who is wounded in the cause of Allah – and Allah knows best who is wounded in His cause – but he will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wounds looking as they did on the day he was wounded; their color will be the color of blood but their smell will be the fragrance of musk." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَی بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَی يَقُولُ دَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَی الْأَحْزَابِ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ مُنْزِلَ الْکِتَابِ سَرِيعَ الْحِسَابِ اهْزِمْ الْأَحْزَابَ اللَّهُمَّ اهْزِمْهُمْ وَزَلْزِلْهُمْ

Ismail bin Abu Khalid said: "I heard 'Abdullah bin Abu Awfa say: 'The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H supplicated to Allah against the Confederates (AI-Ahzab) and said: '0 Allah, Who has sent down the Book and is Swift in bringing to account, destroy the Confederates. O Allah, destroy them and shake them.''' (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَی وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَی الْمِصْرِيَّانِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو شُرَيْحٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ أَنَّ سَهْلَ بْنَ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ الشَّهَادَةَ بِصِدْقٍ مِنْ قَلْبِهِ بَلَّغَهُ اللَّهُ مَنَازِلَ الشُّهَدَائِ وَإِنْ مَاتَ عَلَی فِرَاشِهِ

Sahl bin Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif narrated from his father, from his grandfather that the Prophet P.B.U.H said: "Whoever asks Allah for martyrdom, sincerely from his heart, Allah will cause him to reach the status of the martyrs even if he dies in his bed." (Sahih)
