حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَإِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ أَطْيَبَ مَا أَکَلَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ کَسْبِهِ وَإِنَّ وَلَدَهُ مِنْ کَسْبِهِ

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H passed by a man in Makkah who was standing in the sun. He said. "What is this?" They said. "He vowed to fast and not to seek shade until night comes, and not to speak, and to remain standing." He said: "Let him speak and seek shade, and let him sit down, but let him complete his fast." (Sahih) Another chain from Ibn 'Abbas, from the Prophet P.B.U.H, with similar wording.

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِيکَرِبَ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا کَسَبَ الرَّجُلُ کَسْبًا أَطْيَبَ مِنْ عَمَلِ يَدِهِ وَمَا أَنْفَقَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَی نَفْسِهِ وَأَهْلِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ وَخَادِمِهِ فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ

It was narrated from Aishah that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'The best (most pure) food a man consumes is that which he has earned himself, and his child (and his child's wealth) is part of his earnings." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ حَدَّثَنَا کَثِيرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنَا کُلْثُومُ بْنُ جَوْشَنٍ الْقُشَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ التَّاجِرُ الْأَمِينُ الصَّدُوقُ الْمُسْلِمُ مَعَ الشُّهَدَائِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

It was narrated from Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib (Az-Zubaidi) that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: "No man earns anything better than that which he earns with his own hands, and what a man spends on himself, his wife, his child and his servant, then it is charity." (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ کَاسِبٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الدِّيْلِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْغَيْثِ مَوْلَی ابْنِ مُطِيعٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ السَّاعِي عَلَی الْأَرْمَلَةِ وَالْمِسْکِينِ کَالْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَکَالَّذِي يَقُومُ اللَّيْلَ وَيَصُومُ النَّهَارَ

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'The trustworthy, honest Muslim merchant will be with the martyrs on the Day of Resurrection." (Da'if)

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ← أَبِي الْغَيْثِ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ مُطِيعٍ ← ثَوْرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الدِّيلِيُّ، ← عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ؛ ← يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خُبَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَمِّهِ قَالَ کُنَّا فِي مَجْلِسٍ فَجَائَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَی رَأْسِهِ أَثَرُ مَائٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ بَعْضُنَا نَرَاکَ الْيَوْمَ طَيِّبَ النَّفْسِ فَقَالَ أَجَلْ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ثُمَّ أَفَاضَ الْقَوْمُ فِي ذِکْرِ الْغِنَی فَقَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِالْغِنَی لِمَنْ اتَّقَی وَالصِّحَّةُ لِمَنْ اتَّقَی خَيْرٌ مِنْ الْغِنَی وَطِيبُ النَّفْسِ مِنْ النَّعِيمِ

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet P.B.U.H said: "The one who strives to support the widow and the poor is like a Mujahid who fights in the cause of Allah, and like one who stands in the night (in voluntary prayer) and fasts by day." (Sahih)
