حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ حَدَّثَنَا زَکَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَقَ الْمَکِّيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَيْفِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْبَدٍ مَوْلَی ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ مُعَاذًا إِلَی الْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ إِنَّکَ تَأْتِي قَوْمًا أَهْلَ کِتَابٍ فَادْعُهُمْ إِلَی شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَإِنْ هُمْ أَطَاعُوا لِذَلِکَ فَأَعْلِمْهُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ افْتَرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ فِي کُلِّ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ فَإِنْ هُمْ أَطَاعُوا لِذَلِکَ فَأَعْلِمْهُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ افْتَرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَدَقَةً فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ تُؤْخَذُ مِنْ أَغْنِيَائِهِمْ فَتُرَدُّ فِي فُقَرَائِهِمْ فَإِنْ هُمْ أَطَاعُوا لِذَلِکَ فَإِيَّاکَ وَکَرَائِمَ أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاتَّقِ دَعْوَةَ الْمَظْلُومِ فَإِنَّهَا لَيْسَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ اللَّهِ حِجَابٌ

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet P.B.U.H nt Mu 'aadh. to Yemen, and said":You are going to some people among the People of the Book. CalI them to bear witness that none has the rIght to be worshiped but Allah, and that I am the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H. they obey that, then tell them that Allah has enjoined upon them live prayers every day and night. If they Obey that, then telI them that Allah has enjoined upon them charity (Zakat) from their wealth, to be taken from their rich and given to their poor. If they obey that, then beware of (taking) the best of their wealth. And beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِکِ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ وَجَامِعِ بْنِ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ سَمِعَا شَقِيقَ بْنَ سَلَمَةَ يُخْبِرُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ لَا يُؤَدِّي زَکَاةَ مَالِهِ إِلَّا مُثِّلَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شُجَاعًا أَقْرَعَ حَتَّی يُطَوِّقَ عُنُقَهُ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِصْدَاقَهُ مِنْ کِتَابِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَی وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمْ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ الْآيَةَ

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: "There is no one who does not pay Zakat on his wealth, but a bald-headed snake will be made to appear to him on the Day of Resurrection, until it encircles his neck" Then the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H recited the follwing Verse to' us confirming that from the Book of Allah the Most High' . "And Iet not thotsee w a covetously withhold of that which Allah has bestowed on them of His -Boounty (wealth) think that it is good for them.''()sahih

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ الْمَعْرُورِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْ صَاحِبِ إِبِلٍ وَلَا غَنَمٍ وَلَا بَقَرٍ لَا يُؤَدِّي زَکَاتَهَا إِلَّا جَائَتْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْظَمَ مَا کَانَتْ وَأَسْمَنَهُ تَنْطَحُهُ بِقُرُونِهَا وَتَطَؤُهُ بِأَخْفَافِهَا کُلَّمَا نَفِدَتْ أُخْرَاهَا عَادَتْ عَلَيْهِ أُولَاهَا حَتَّی يُقْضَی بَيْنَ النَّاسِ

It was narrated from ABU Dharr that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said:"There is no owner of camels, sheep or cattle who does not pay Zakat on them, but th will come to him on the of Resurrection as big and as fat as they ever were butting him their hornss and trampling him with their hooves. Every time the ast of them has passed the first of theem will come back to him , until Judgement is passed the people." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَرْوَانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْعُثْمَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ الْعَلَائِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تَأْتِي الْإِبِلُ الَّتِي لَمْ تُعْطِ الْحَقَّ مِنْهَا تَطَأُ صَاحِبَهَا بِأَخْفَافِهَا وَتَأْتِي الْبَقَرُ وَالْغَنَمُ تَطَأُ صَاحِبَهَا بِأَظْلَافِهَا وَتَنْطَحُهُ بِقُرُونِهَا وَيَأْتِي الْکَنْزُ شُجَاعًا أَقْرَعَ فَيَلْقَی صَاحِبَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيَفِرُّ مِنْهُ صَاحِبُهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يَسْتَقْبِلُهُ فَيَفِرُّ فَيَقُولُ مَا لِي وَلَکَ فَيَقُولُ أَنَا کَنْزُکَ أَنَا کَنْزُکَ فَيَتَقِيهِ بِيَدِهِ فَيَلْقَمُهَا

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: "The camels on which the dues (i.e., Zakat) were not paid will come, trampling their owners with their hooves. And cattle and sheep will come and trample their owners with their hooves and butt them with their horns. And hoarded treasure will come in the form of a baldheaded snake, and will meet its owner on the Day of Resurrection. Its owner will flee from it two times, then it will come to him and he will flee again, and will say: 'What do I have to do with you?' and it will say: 'I am your hoarded treasure, I am your hoarded treasure.' He will try to shield himself with his hand and it will devour it." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ سَوَّادٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ مَوْلَی عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ فَلَحِقَهُ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَقَالَ لَهُ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَالَّذِينَ يَکْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ وَلَا يُنْفِقُونَهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَهُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ مَنْ کَنَزَهَا فَلَمْ يُؤَدِّ زَکَاتَهَا فَوَيْلٌ لَهُ إِنَّمَا کَانَ هَذَا قَبْلَ أَنْ تُنْزَلَ الزَّکَاةُ فَلَمَّا أُنْزِلَتْ جَعَلَهَا اللَّهُ طَهُورًا لِلْأَمْوَالِ ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ فَقَالَ مَا أُبَالِي لَوْ کَانَ لِي أُحُدٌ ذَهَبًا أَعْلَمُ عَدَدَهُ وَأُزَکِّيهِ وَأَعْمَلُ فِيهِ بِطَاعَةِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

Khalid bin Aslam, the freed slave of 'Umar bin Khattab, said: "I went out with 'Abdullah bin 'Umar, and a Bedouin met him and recited to him the words of Allah: 'And those who hoard up gold and silver (the money, the Zakah of which has not been paid) and spend them not in the way of Allah . Ibn 'Umar said to him.'The one who hoards it and doe; not pay the Zakat due on it, woe to him. But this was before the (ruling on) Zakat was revealed.When it was revealed, Allah made It a purification of wealth' Then he turned away and said: ;I do not mind if I have (the equivalent of) Uhud in gold provided that I know how much it is and I pay Zakat on it and I ils.e it in obedience of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime.'" (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِکِ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَی بْنُ أَعْيَنَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ أَبِي السَّمْحِ عَنْ ابْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَدَّيْتَ زَکَاةَ مَالِکَ فَقَدْ قَضَيْتَ مَا عَلَيْکَ

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: "When you pay Zakat on your wealth, then you have done what is required of you." (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ آدَمَ عَنْ شَرِيکٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ أَنْهَا سَمِعَتْهُ تَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ فِي الْمَالِ حَقٌّ سِوَی الزَّکَاةِ

It was narrated from Fatimah bint Qais that she heard him, meaning the Prophet P.B.U.H say: "There is nothing due on wealth other than Zakat." (Da'if)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي قَدْ عَفَوْتُ لَکُمْ عَنْ صَدَقَةِ الْخَيْلِ وَالرَّقِيقِ وَلَکِنْ هَاتُوا رُبُعَ الْعُشْرِ مِنْ کُلِّ أَرْبَعِينَ دِرْهَمًا دِرْهَمًا

It was narrated from 'Ali that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: "I have exempted you from having to pay Zakat on horses and slaves, but bring one quarter of one-tenth of every forty Dirham: one Dirham." (Da'if)

حَدَّثَنَا بَکْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَی أَنْبَأَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَعَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَأْخُذُ مِنْ کُلِّ عِشْرِينَ دِينَارًا فَصَاعِدًا نِصْفَ دِينَارٍ وَمِنْ الْأَرْبَعِينَ دِينَارًا دِينَارًا

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar and 'Aishah that from every twenty Dinar or more, the Prophet P.B.U.H used to take half a Dinar, and from forty Dinar, one Dinar. (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا شُجَاعُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَارِثَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا زَکَاةَ فِي مَالٍ حَتَّی يَحُولَ عَلَيْهِ الْحَوْلُ

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H say: 'There is no Zakat on wealth until Hawl (one year) has passed.''' (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ حَدَّثَنِي الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ کَثِيرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ عُمَارَةَ وَعَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا صَدَقَةَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسَاقٍ مِنْ التَّمْرِ وَلَا فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ أَوَاقٍ وَلَا فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسٍ مِنْ الْإِبِلِ

It was narrated from Abu Sa' eed Al,Khudri that he heard the Prophet P.B.U.H say: "There is no Sadaqah on anything less than five Awsaq of dates, five Awaqia of silver and five camels." (Sahih)

أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، ← يَحْيَی بْنِ عُمَارَةَ وَعَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ ← مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ ← الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ← أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ← أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ ذَوْدٍ صَدَقَةٌ وَلَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ أَوَاقٍ صَدَقَةٌ وَلَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسَاقٍ صَدَقَةٌ

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'There is no Sadaqah on less than five camels; there is no Sadaqah on less than five Awaq; and there is no Sadaqah on less than five Awsaq.''' (Sahih)
