حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ السُّوَائِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا تَصُفُّونَ کَمَا تَصُفُّ الْمَلَائِکَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهَا قَالَ قُلْنَا وَکَيْفَ تَصُفُّ الْمَلَائِکَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهَا قَالَ يُتِمُّونَ الصُّفُوفَ الْأُوَلَ وَيَتَرَاصُّونَ فِي الصَّفِّ

It was narrated that Jabir bin Samurah As-Suwai said: "The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'Will you not form your rows as the angels form their rows before their Lord?' We said: 'How do the angels form their rows before their Lord?' He said: 'They complete the first row and they stand close of one another in the line (leaving no gaps between one another).' "

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ح و حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي وَبِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَوُّوا صُفُوفَکُمْ فَإِنَّ تَسْوِيَةَ الصُّفُوفِ مِنْ تَمَامِ الصَّلَاةِ

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: "The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'Make your rows straight, for straightem.ng the rows is part of completing the prayer.''' (sahih)….

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاکُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ يَقُولُ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسَوِّي الصَّفَّ حَتَّی يَجْعَلَهُ مِثْلَ الرُّمْحِ أَوْ الْقِدْحِ قَالَ فَرَأَی صَدْرَ رَجُلٍ نَاتِئًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَوُّوا صُفُوفَکُمْ أَوْ لَيُخَالِفَنَّ اللَّهُ بَيْنَ وُجُوهِکُمْ

Simak bin Harb narrated that he heard Nu’mân bin Bashir say: “The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H used to straighten the rows until he made them like a spear or an arrow-shaft. Once he saw a man’s chest (sticking out) so the Messenger of Allah said: ‘Make your rows straight or Allah will create division among you.” (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِکَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَی الَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ الصُّفُوفَ وَمَنْ سَدَّ فُرْجَةً رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً

It was narrated that' Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'Allah and His angels send blessings Upon those who complete the rows, and whoever fills a gap, Allah will raise him one degree in status thereby.'''(Hasan)
