حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَبُو کُرَيْبٍ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَهَا فَسَلَّمَ فِي الرَّکْعَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَقَصُرَتْ أَمْ نَسِيتَ قَالَ مَا قَصُرَتْ وَمَا نَسِيتُ قَالَ إِذًا فَصَلَّيْتَ رَکْعَتَيْنِ قَالَ أَکَمَا يَقُولُ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ قَالُوا نَعَمْ فَتَقَدَّمَ فَصَلَّی رَکْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْ السَّهْوِ

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messanger of Allah SAW forgot and said the Taslim after two Rak’ah. A man who was called Dhul-Yadain said to him: ‘O Messanger of Allah SAW, has the prayer been shortened or did you forget?’ He said: ‘It has not been shortened and I did not forget.’ He said: ‘But you prayed two Rak’ah.’ He said: ‘Is what Dhul-Yadain says true?’ They said: ‘Yes.’ So he went forward and performed two Rak’ah and said the Salam, then he prostrated twice for the prostrations of forgetfulness.(Sahih).

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ صَلَّی بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِحْدَی صَلَاتَيْ الْعَشِيِّ رَکْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَی خَشَبَةٍ کَانَتْ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ يَسْتَنِدُ إِلَيْهَا فَخَرَجَ سَرَعَانُ النَّاسِ يَقُولُونَ قَصُرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ وَفِي الْقَوْمِ أَبُو بَکْرٍ وَعُمَرُ فَهَابَاهُ أَنْ يَقُولَا لَهُ شَيْئًا وَفِي الْقَوْمِ رَجُلٌ طَوِيلُ الْيَدَيْنِ يُسَمَّی ذَا الْيَدَيْنِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَقَصُرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ أَمْ نَسِيتَ فَقَالَ لَمْ تَقْصُرْ وَلَمْ أَنْسَ قَالَ فَإِنَّمَا صَلَّيْتَ رَکْعَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ أَکَمَا يَقُولُ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ فَقَالُوا نَعَمْ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّی رَکْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah SAW led us in one of the afternoon prayers, and he prayed two Rak'ah, then he said the Salam. Then he stood up and went to a piece of wood in the Masjid, and leaned against it. Those who were in a hurry left the Masjid, saying that the prayer had been shortened. Among the people were Abu Bakr and 'Umar, but they dared not say anything. Among the people there was also a man with long hands who was called Dhul-Yadain. He said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, has the prayer been shortened or did you forget?' He said: 'It has not been shortened and I did not forget.' He said: 'But you prayed two Rak' ah.' He said: 'Is what Dhul- Yadain says true?' They said: 'Yes.' So he went forward and performed two Rak'ah and said the Salam, then he prostrated twice, and then he said the Salam again."(Sahih).

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّائُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ قَالَ سَلَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ثَلَاثِ رَکَعَاتٍ مِنْ الْعَصْرِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَدَخَلَ الْحُجْرَةَ فَقَامَ الْخِرْبَاقُ رَجُلٌ بَسِيطُ الْيَدَيْنِ فَنَادَی يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَقَصُرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ فَخَرَجَ مُغْضَبًا يَجُرُّ إِزَارَهُ فَسَأَلَ فَأُخْبِرَ فَصَلَّی تِلْکَ الرَّکْعَةَ الَّتِي کَانَ تَرَکَ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ

It was narrated that 'Imran bin Husain said: "The Messenger of Allah SAW said the Salam after three Rak' ah for 'Asr, then he stood up and went into the apartment. Khirbaq, a man with big hands, stood up and called out: 'O Messenger of Allah! Has the prayer been shortened?' He came out angrily, dragging his lower garment, and asked about it, and was told (what had happened). So he performed the Rak'ah that he had omitted, then he said the Salam, then he prostrated twice and said the Salam again." (Sahih).

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَکِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بَکِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِسْحَقَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْتِي أَحَدَکُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَيَدْخُلُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ نَفْسِهِ حَتَّی لَا يَدْرِيَ زَادَ أَوْ نَقَصَ فَإِذَا کَانَ ذَلِکَ فَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمْ

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet SAW said: "The Satan comes to anyone of you while he is praying and comes between him and his soul, until he does not know whether he has added something or omitted something. If that happens, then he should prostrate twice before he says the Salam, then he should say the Salam."(Hasan).

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَکِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بَکِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِسْحَقَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَدْخُلُ بَيْنَ ابْنِ آدَمَ وَبَيْنَ نَفْسِهِ فَلَا يَدْرِي کَمْ صَلَّی فَإِذَا وَجَدَ ذَلِکَ فَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet SAW said: "The Satan comes between the son of Adam and his soul, and he does not know how many Rak'ah he has prayed. If a person notices that, then let him prostrate twice before he says the Salam."(Hasan).

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْ السَّهْوِ بَعْدَ السَّلَامِ وَذَکَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَ ذَلِکَ

It was narrated from Alqamah that Ibn Mas'ud prostrated twice for prostrations of forgetfulness after the Salam, and he mentioned that the prophet SAW did that." (Sahih).

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ الْعَنْسِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِي کُلِّ سَهْوٍ سَجْدَتَانِ بَعْدَ مَا يُسَلِّمُ

It was narrated that Thawban said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah SAW say: 'For every mistake there are two prostrations, after saying the Salam.''' (Hasan).

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ کَاسِبٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَی التَّيْمِيُّ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ مَوْلَی الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَی الصَّلَاةِ وَکَبَّرَ ثُمَّ أَشَارَ إِلَيْهِمْ فَمَکَثُوا ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ فَاغْتَسَلَ وَکَانَ رَأْسُهُ يَقْطُرُ مَائً فَصَلَّی بِهِمْ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قَالَ إِنِّي خَرَجْتُ إِلَيْکُمْ جُنُبًا وَإِنِّي نَسِيتُ حَتَّی قُمْتُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Prophet SAW came out to pray and said the Takbir, then he gestured to them to wait. He went and took a bath, and his head was dripping with water while he led them in prayer. When he finished he said: 'I came out to you in a state of sexual impurity, and I forgot until I had started to pray." (Hasan).

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْکَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَصَابَهُ قَيْئٌ أَوْ رُعَافٌ أَوْ قَلَسٌ أَوْ مَذْيٌ فَلْيَنْصَرِفْ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ ثُمَّ لِيَبْنِ عَلَی صَلَاتِهِ وَهُوَ فِي ذَلِکَ لَا يَتَکَلَّمُ

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah SAW said: 'Whoever vomits, has a nosebleed, belches, or emits prostatic fluid, should stop praying; perform ablution, then resume his prayer, and while he is in that state he should not speak."(Da'if).

حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ شَبَّةَ بْنِ عَبِيدَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا صَلَّی أَحَدُکُمْ فَأَحْدَثَ فَلْيُمْسِکْ عَلَی أَنْفِهِ ثُمَّ لِيَنْصَرِفْ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ

It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Prophet SAW said: "When anyone of you performs prayer and commits Hadath, (passing of wind) let him take hold of his nose, then leave." (Sahih).

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ طَهْمَانَ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ عَنْ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ کَانَ بِيَ النَّاصُورُ فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ صَلِّ قَائِمًا فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَقَاعِدًا فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَعَلَی جَنْبٍ

It was narrated that 'Imran bin Husain said: "I suffered from Nasur, and I asked the Prophet SAW about prayer. He said: 'Perform prayer standing; if you cannot, then sitting; and if you cannot then while lying on your side.'''(Sahih).

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَيَانٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ الْأَزْرَقُ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَرِيزٍ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّی جَالِسًا عَلَی يَمِينِهِ وَهُوَ وَجِعٌ

It was narrated that Wa'il bin Hujr said: "I saw the Prophet SAW performing prayer while sitting on his right side when he was sick." (Da'if).
