حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَی الْمِصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي هِلَالٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ الدِّمَشْقِيِّ عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَائِ قَالَتْ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الدَّرْدَائِ أَنَّهُ سَجَدَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِحْدَی عَشْرَةَ سَجْدَةً مِنْهُنَّ النَّجْمُ

It was narrated that Umm Darda' said: "Abu Darda' told me that he did eleven prostrations with the Prophet P.B.U.H including An-Najm" (Da'if)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ فَائِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ رَجَائِ بْنِ حَيْوَةَ عَنْ الْمَهْدِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ خَاطِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي عَمَّتِي أُمُّ الدَّرْدَائِ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَائِ قَالَ سَجَدْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِحْدَی عَشْرَةَ سَجْدَةً لَيْسَ فِيهَا مِنْ الْمُفَصَّلِ شَيْئٌ الْأَعْرَافُ وَالرَّعْدُ وَالنَّحْلُ وَبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَمَرْيَمُ وَالْحَجُّ وَسَجْدَةُ الْفُرْقَانِ وَسُلَيْمَانُ سُورَةِ النَّمْلِ وَالسَّجْدَةُ وَفِي ص وَسَجْدَةُ الْحَوَامِيمِ

It was narrated that Abu Darda' said: "I performed eleven prostrations with the Prophet P.B.U.H of which there were none in the Mufassal , AI-A'raJ, Ar-Ra'd, An-Nahl, Bani Isra'il. Maryam, AI-Hajj. the prostration in Al-Furqan, Sural An-Narni (mentioning) Sulaiman, As-Sajdah, Sad, and the Ha-Mim Surah." (Da'if)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْعُتَقِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُنَيْنٍ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ کِلَالٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقْرَأَهُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَجْدَةً فِي الْقُرْآنِ مِنْهَا ثَلَاثٌ فِي الْمُفَصَّلِ وَفِي الْحَجِّ سَجْدَتَيْنِ

It was narrated from' Amr bin 'As that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H taught him fifteen prostrations in the Quran,including three in the Mulassal and two in AI-Hajj. (Da'if)

عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ ← عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُنَيْنٍ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ کُلَالٍ ← الْحَارِثِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْعُتَقِيِّ ← نَافِعُ بْنُ یَزِیدَ ← ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَی عَنْ عَطَائِ بْنِ مِينَائَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَجَدْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي إِذَا السَّمَائُ انْشَقَّتْ وَاقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّکَ

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:“We prostrated with the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H in “When the heaven is split asunder” and “Read! In the Name of your Lord.”(Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَکْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ أَبِي بَکْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَجَدَ فِي إِذَا السَّمَائُ انْشَقَّتْ قَالَ أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ يَحْيَی بْنِ سَعِيدٍ مَا سَمِعْتُ أَحَدًا يَذْکُرُهُ غَيْرَهُ

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet P.B.U.H prostrated if” When the heaven is split asunder.” (Sahih) Abu Bakr bin Abu Shaibah said: “This Hadith was narrated from Yahya bin Sa’eed; I did not hear it from anyone but him.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَصَلَّی وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي نَاحِيَةٍ مِنْ الْمَسْجِدِ فَجَائَ فَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ وَعَلَيْکَ فَارْجِعْ فَصَلِّ فَإِنَّکَ لَمْ تُصَلِّ فَرَجَعَ فَصَلَّی ثُمَّ جَائَ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَی النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ وَعَلَيْکَ فَارْجِعْ فَصَلِّ فَإِنَّکَ لَمْ تُصَلِّ بَعْدُ قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ فَعَلِّمْنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِذَا قُمْتَ إِلَی الصَّلَاةِ فَأَسْبِغْ الْوُضُوئَ ثُمَّ اسْتَقْبِلْ الْقِبْلَةَ فَکَبِّرْ ثُمَّ اقْرَأْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مَعَکَ مِنْ الْقُرْآنِ ثُمَّ ارْکَعْ حَتَّی تَطْمَئِنَّ رَاکِعًا ثُمَّ ارْفَعْ حَتَّی تَطْمَئِنَّ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ اسْجُدْ حَتَّی تَطْمَئِنَّ سَاجِدًا ثُمَّ ارْفَعْ رَأْسَکَ حَتَّی تَسْتَوِيَ قَاعِدًا ثُمَّ افْعَلْ ذَلِکَ فِي صَلَاتِکَ کُلِّهَا

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that a man entered the Masjid and performed prayer, and the prophet P.B.U.H was in a comer of the Masjid. The man came and greeted him, and he said: "And also upon you. Go back and repeat your prayer, for you have not prayed." So he went back and repeated his prayer, then he came and greeted the Prophet P.B.U.H. He said: "And also upon you. Go back and repeat your prayer, for you have not prayed." On the third occasion, the man said: "Teach me, 0 Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H ! He said: "When you stand up to offer the prayer, perform ablution properly, then stand to face the prayer direction and say Allahu Akbar. Then recite whatever you can of Qur'an, and then bow until you feel at ease bowing. Then stand up until you feel at ease standing, then prostrate until you feel at ease prostrating. Then raise your head until you are sitting up straight. Do that throughout your prayer." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَائٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيَّ فِي عَشْرَةٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهِمْ أَبُو قَتَادَةَ فَقَالَ أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ أَنَا أَعْلَمُکُمْ بِصَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالُوا لِمَ فَوَاللَّهِ مَا کُنْتَ بِأَکْثَرِنَا لَهُ تَبَعَةً وَلَا أَقْدَمَنَا لَهُ صُحْبَةً قَالَ بَلَی قَالُوا فَاعْرِضْ قَالَ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَامَ إِلَی الصَّلَاةِ کَبَّرَ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّی يُحَاذِيَ بِهِمَا مَنْکِبَيْهِ وَيَقِرَّ کُلُّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهُ فِي مَوْضِعِهِ ثُمَّ يَقْرَأُ ثُمَّ يُکَبِّرُ وَيَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّی يُحَاذِيَ بِهِمَا مَنْکِبَيْهِ ثُمَّ يَرْکَعُ وَيَضَعُ رَاحَتَيْهِ عَلَی رُکْبَتَيْهِ مُعْتَمِدًا لَا يَصُبُّ رَأْسَهُ وَلَا يُقْنِعُ مُعْتَدِلًا ثُمَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ وَيَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّی يُحَاذِيَ بِهِمَا مَنْکِبَيْهِ حَتَّی يَقِرَّ کُلُّ عَظْمٍ إِلَی مَوْضِعِهِ ثُمَّ يَهْوِي إِلَی الْأَرْضِ وَيُجَافِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عَنْ جَنْبَيْهِ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ وَيَثْنِي رِجْلَهُ الْيُسْرَی فَيَقْعُدُ عَلَيْهَا وَيَفْتَخُ أَصَابِعَ رِجْلَيْهِ إِذَا سَجَدَ ثُمَّ يَسْجُدُ ثُمَّ يُکَبِّرُ وَيَجْلِسُ عَلَی رِجْلِهِ الْيُسْرَی حَتَّی يَرْجِعَ کُلُّ عَظْمٍ مِنْهُ إِلَی مَوْضِعِهِ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَصْنَعُ فِي الرَّکْعَةِ الْأُخْرَی مِثْلَ ذَلِکَ ثُمَّ إِذَا قَامَ مِنْ الرَّکْعَتَيْنِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّی يُحَاذِيَ بِهِمَا مَنْکِبَيْهِ کَمَا صَنَعَ عِنْدَ افْتِتَاحِ الصَّلَاةِ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي بَقِيَّةَ صَلَاتِهِ هَکَذَا حَتَّی إِذَا کَانَتْ السَّجْدَةُ الَّتِي يَنْقَضِي فِيهَا التَّسْلِيمُ أَخَّرَ إِحْدَی رِجْلَيْهِ وَجَلَسَ عَلَی شِقِّهِ الْأَيْسَرِ مُتَوَرِّکًا قَالُوا صَدَقْتَ هَکَذَا کَانَ يُصَلِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Muhammad bin 'Amr bin " 'Ata' said: 'While he was among ten of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H including Abu Qatadah: "I heard Abu Humaid As-Sa'idi say: 'I am the most knowledgeable of you concerning the prayer of the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H: They said: 'Why? By Allah, you did not follow him more than we did, and you did not accompany him for longer: He said: 'Yes I am: They said: 'Show us: He said: 'When the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H stood up for prayer, he would say the Takbir, then he would raise his hands parallel to his shoulders, and every part of his body would settle in place. Then he would recite, then he would raise his hands parallel to his shoulders and bow, placing his palms on his knees and supporting his weight on them. He neither lowered his head, nor raised it up, it was evenly balanced (between either extreme). Then he would say: "Sami' Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him); and he would raise his hands parallel with his shoulders, until every bone returned to its place. Then he would prostrate himself on the ground, keeping his arms away from his sides. Then he would raise his head and tuck his left foot under him and sit on it, and he would spread his toes when he prostrated. Then he would prostrate, then say the Takbir and sit on his left foot, until every bone returned to its place. Then he would stand up and do the same in the next Rak' ah. Then when he stood up after two Rak'ah, he would raise his hands level with his shoulders as he did at the beginning of the prayer. Then he would offer the rest of his prayer in like manner until, when he did the prostration after which the Taslim comes, he would push one of his feet back and sit with his weight on his left side, Mutawarrikan : They said: 'You have spoken the truth; this is how the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H used to perform the prayer: (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ أَبِي الرِّجَالِ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ قَالَتْ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ کَيْفَ کَانَتْ صَلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ کَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ فَوَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ فِي الْإِنَائِ سَمَّی اللَّهَ وَيُسْبِغُ الْوُضُوئَ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ فَيُکَبِّرُ وَيَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ حِذَائَ مَنْکِبَيْهِ ثُمَّ يَرْکَعُ فَيَضَعُ يَدَيْهِ عَلَی رُکْبَتَيْهِ وَيُجَافِي بِعَضُدَيْهِ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ فَيُقِيمُ صُلْبَهُ وَيَقُومُ قِيَامًا هُوَ أَطْوَلُ مِنْ قِيَامِکُمْ قَلِيلًا ثُمَّ يَسْجُدُ فَيَضَعُ يَدَيْهِ تُجَاهَ الْقِبْلَةِ وَيُجَافِي بِعَضُدَيْهِ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ فِيمَا رَأَيْتُ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ فَيَجْلِسُ عَلَی قَدَمِهِ الْيُسْرَی وَيَنْصِبُ الْيُمْنَی وَيَکْرَهُ أَنْ يَسْقُطَ عَلَی شِقِّهِ الْأَيْسَرِ

It was narrated that 'Amrah said: "I asked 'Alshah: 'How did the Messenger of Allah perform prayer?' She said: 'When the Prophet P.B.U.H. performed ablution, he would put his hand in the vessel and say Bismillah, and he would perform ablution properly, Then he would stand and face the Qiblah, He would say the Takbir raising his hands parallel to his shoulders, Then he would bow, putting his hands on his knees and keeping his arms away from his sides, Then he would raise his head and straighten his back, and he would stand a little longer than your standing, Then he would prostrate, pointing his hands towards the Qiblah, keeping his arms away (from his sides) as much as possible, according to what I have seen, Then he would raise his head and sit on his left foot with his right foot held upright, and he disliked leaning towards his left side.''' عَمْرَةَ ← حَارِثَةَ بْنِ أَبِي الرِّجَالِ ← عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ← أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيکٌ عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَی عَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ صَلَاةُ السَّفَرِ رَکْعَتَانِ وَالْجُمُعَةُ رَکْعَتَانِ وَالْعِيدُ رَکْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَی لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

It was narrated that ‘Umar said: “The prayer while traveling is two Rak’ah, and Friday is two Rak’ah, and ‘Eid is two Rak’ah. They are complete and are not shortened, as told by Muhammad P.B.U.H.” (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ أَنْبَأَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَی عَنْ کَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ صَلَاةُ السَّفَرِ رَکْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَکْعَتَانِ وَالْفِطْرُ وَالْأَضْحَی رَکْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَی لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

'Umar said: "The prayer when traveling is two Rak'oh, and Friday is two Rak'ah, and AI-Fitr and AI-Adha are two Rakah, complete, not shortened, as told by Muhammad P.B.U.H," (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَابَيْهِ عَنْ يَعْلَی بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ قُلْتُ لَيْسَ عَلَيْکُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ تَقْصُرُوا مِنْ الصَّلَاةِ إِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَنْ يَفْتِنَکُمْ الَّذِينَ کَفَرُوا وَقَدْ أَمِنَ النَّاسُ فَقَالَ عَجِبْتُ مِمَّا عَجِبْتَ مِنْهُ فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِکَ فَقَالَ صَدَقَةٌ تَصَدَّقَ اللَّهُ بِهَا عَلَيْکُمْ فَاقْبَلُوا صَدَقَتَهُ

It was narrated that Ya'la bin Umayyah said: "I asked 'Umar bin Khattab: 'Allah says: "And when you travel in the land, there is no sin on you if you shorten the prayer if you fear that the disbelievers may put you in trial (attack you), verily, the disbelievers are ever to you open enemies,'' but now there is security and people are safe.' He said: 'I found it strange just as you do, so I asked the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H about that, and he said: "It is a charity that Allah has bestowed upon you, so accept His charity." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَکْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ إِنَّا نَجِدُ صَلَاةَ الْحَضَرِ وَصَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ فِي الْقُرْآنِ وَلَا نَجِدُ صَلَاةَ السَّفَرِ فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَعَثَ إِلَيْنَا مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ شَيْئًا فَإِنَّمَا نَفْعَلُ کَمَا رَأَيْنَا مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَفْعَلُ

It was narrated from Umayyah bin' Abdullah bin Khalid that he said to 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: "We find (mention of) the prayer of the resident and the prayer in a state of fear in the Qur'an, but we do not find any mention of the prayer of the traveler. 'Abdullah said to him: "Allah sent Muhammad m to us, and we did not know anything, rather we do what we saw Muhammad P.B.U.H doing." (Hasan)
