أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ کَانَ آخِرُ أَذَانِ بِلَالٍ اللَّهُ أَکْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَکْبَرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ

It was narrated that Al-Aswad said: “The final words of the Adhan of Bilal were: ‘Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar; La ilaha illallah (Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is none worthy of worship except Allah).” (Sahih).

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ أَنَّ آخِرَ الْأَذَانِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ

It was narrated that Muharib bin Dithar said: “Al-Aswad bin Yazid narrated to me from Abu Mahdhurah that the final words of the Adhan are: ‘La ilaha illallah (there is none worthy of worship except Allah).” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَوْسٍ يَقُولُ أَنْبَأَنَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ ثَقِيفٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مُنَادِيَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْنِي فِي لَيْلَةٍ مَطِيرَةٍ فِي السَّفَرِ يَقُولُ حَيَّ عَلَی الصَّلَاةِ حَيَّ عَلَی الْفَلَاحِ صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِکُمْ

It was narrated that ‘Amr bin Aws said: “A man of Thaqlf told us that he heard the caller of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ti on a rainy night during a journey saying: ‘Hayya ‘ala as-salah, Hayya ‘ala al-falah, sallafi rihalikum (Come to prayer, come to prosperity, pray in Your dewellings).” (Sahih).

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ عَنْ مَالِکٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ أَذَّنَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ ذَاتِ بَرْدٍ وَرِيحٍ فَقَالَ أَلَا صَلُّوا فِي الرِّحَالِ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَأْمُرُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ إِذَا کَانَتْ لَيْلَةٌ بَارِدَةٌ ذَاتُ مَطَرٍ يَقُولُ أَلَا صَلُّوا فِي الرِّحَالِ

It was narrated from Nafi’ that Ibn ‘Umar gave the call to prayer on a cold and windy night, and he said: “Pray where you are, for the Prophet used to order the Mu ‘adhdhin, if it was a cold and rainy night, to say: ‘Pray in your dwellings.” (Sahih).

أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ سَارَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّی أَتَی عَرَفَةَ فَوَجَدَ الْقُبَّةَ قَدْ ضُرِبَتْ لَهُ بِنَمِرَةَ فَنَزَلَ بِهَا حَتَّی إِذَا زَاغَتْ الشَّمْسُ أَمَرَ بِالْقَصْوَاء فَرُحِّلَتْ لَهُ حَتَّی إِذَا انْتَهَی إِلَی بَطْنِ الْوَادِي خَطَبَ النَّاسَ ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ بِلَالٌ ثُمَّ أَقَامَ فَصَلَّی الظُّهْرَ ثُمَّ أَقَامَ فَصَلَّی الْعَصْرَ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ بَيْنَهُمَا شَيْئًا

Ja’far bin Muhammad narrated from his father, that Jabir bin ‘Abdullah said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم gi traveled until he came to ‘Arafah, where he found that the tent had been pitched for him in Namirah, so he stopped there. Then when the sun had passed its zenith he called for Qaswa’ and she was saddled for him. Then when he reached the bottom of the valley he addressed the people. Then Bilal called the Adhan, then he said the lqamah and he prayed Zuhr, then he said the Iqamah and prayed ‘Asr, and he did not offer any prayer in between them.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ دَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّی انْتَهَی إِلَی الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ فَصَلَّی بِهَا الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَائَ بِأَذَانٍ وَإِقَامَتَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ بَيْنَهُمَا شَيْئًا

It was narrated that Jabir bin ‘Abdullah said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم moved on until he came to Al-Muzdalifah, where he prayed Maghrib and ‘Isha’ with one Adhan and two Iqamahs, and he did not offer any prayer in between them.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شَرِيکٌ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ کُهَيْلٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ کُنَّا مَعَهُ بِجَمْعٍ فَأَذَّنَ ثُمَّ أَقَامَ فَصَلَّی بِنَا الْمَغْرِبَ ثُمَّ قَالَ الصَّلَاةَ فَصَلَّی بِنَا الْعِشَائَ رَکْعَتَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةُ قَالَ هَکَذَا صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي هَذَا الْمَکَانِ

It was narrated that Saeed bin Jubair said concerning Ibn ‘Umar: “We were with him (Ibn ‘Umar) in Maqam’ (Muzdalifah), and he called the Adhan, then the Iqamah, then he led us in praying Maghrib. Then he said: ‘The prayer,’ and he led us in praying ‘Isha’, two Rak’ahs. I said: ‘What is this prayer?’ He said: ‘This is how I prayed with the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم. in this place.” (Sahih).

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ الْحَکَمِ وَسَلَمَةُ بْنُ کُهَيْلٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ أَنَّهُ صَلَّی الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَائَ بِجَمْعٍ بِإِقَامَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ ثُمَّ حَدَّثَ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ صَنَعَ مِثْلَ ذَلِکَ وَحَدَّثَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَنَعَ مِثْلَ ذَلِکَ

It was narrated from Saeed bin Jubair that he prayed Maghrib and ‘Is in Jam’ (Muzdalifah) with one iqamah, then he narrated that Ibn ‘Umar had done that, and Ibn ‘Umar narrated that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم had done that. (Sahih).

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ صَلَّی مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِجَمْعٍ بِإِقَامَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that he prayed in Jam’a with the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم with one Iqamah. (Sahih).

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ وَکِيعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَمَعَ بَيْنَهُمَا بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ صَلَّی کُلَّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا بِإِقَامَةٍ وَلَمْ يَتَطَوَّعْ قَبْلَ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا وَلَا بَعْدُ

It was narrated from Salim, from his father, that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم joined them Maghrib and ‘isha’) in Al-Muzdalifah, and he prayed each of them with an iqamah, and he did not offer any voluntary prayer before or after either of them.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ شَغَلَنَا الْمُشْرِکُونَ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ حَتَّی غَرَبَتْ الشَّمْسُ وَذَلِکَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ فِي الْقِتَالِ مَا نَزَلَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَکَفَی اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الْقِتَالَ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِلَالًا فَأَقَامَ لِصَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ فَصَلَّاهَا کَمَا کَانَ يُصَلِّيهَا لِوَقْتِهَا ثُمَّ أَقَامَ لِلْعَصْرِ فَصَلَّاهَا کَمَا کَانَ يُصَلِّيهَا فِي وَقْتِهَا ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ لِلْمَغْرِبِ فَصَلَّاهَا کَمَا کَانَ يُصَلِّيهَا فِي وَقْتِهَا

It was narrated from ‘Abdur Rahman bin Abi Saeed that his father said: “On the day of Al Khandaq the idolators kept us from praying uhr until the sun had gone down; that was before the revelation concerning fighting was revealed. Then Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, revealed: Allah sufficed for the believers in the fighting.. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم commanded Bilal to say the Iqamah for uhr prayer, and he offered it just as he used to offer it on time. Then he said the Iqamah for ‘Asr and he offered it just as he used to offer it on time. Then he called the Adhan for Maghrib and offered it on time.” (Sahih)
