أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ کَعْبٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ کَعْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ کَعْبًا يُحَدِّثُ حَدِيثَهُ حِينَ تَخَلَّفَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوکَ وَقَالَ فِيهِ إِذَا رَسُولُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْتِينِي وَيَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْمُرُکَ أَنْ تَعْتَزِلَ امْرَأَتَکَ فَقُلْتُ أُطَلِّقُهَا أَمْ مَاذَا أَفْعَلُ قَالَ بَلْ اعْتَزِلْهَا وَلَا تَقْرَبْهَا وَأَرْسَلَ إِلَی صَاحِبَيَّ بِمِثْلِ ذَلِکَ فَقُلْتُ لِامْرَأَتِي الْحَقِي بِأَهْلِکِ وَکُونِي عِنْدَهُمْ حَتَّی يَقْضِيَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي هَذَا الْأَمْرِ خَالَفَهُمْ مَعْقِلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ

‘Abdur-Rahman bin ‘Abdullah bin Ka’b bin M narrated that his father said: “heard my father Ka’b bin Malik — who was one of the three whose repentance was accepted say: ‘The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم sent word to me and to my two companions saying: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم commands you to keep away from your wives. I said to his envoy: Shall I divorce my wife, or what should I do? He said: No, just keep away from her, and do not approach her. I said to my wife: Go to your family and stay with them. So she went to them.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ عِيسَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْقِلٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ کَعْبٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ کَعْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي کَعْبًا يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ أَرْسَلَ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَإِلَی صَاحِبَيَّ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْمُرُکُمْ أَنْ تَعْتَزِلُوا نِسَائَکُمْ فَقُلْتُ لِلرَّسُولِ أُطَلِّقُ امْرَأَتِي أَمْ مَاذَا أَفْعَلُ قَالَ لَا بَلْ تَعْتَزِلُهَا وَلَا تَقْرَبْهَا فَقُلْتُ لِامْرَأَتِي الْحَقِي بِأَهْلِکِ فَکُونِي فِيهِمْ حَتَّی يَقْضِيَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَلَحِقَتْ بِهِمْ خَالَفَهُ مَعْمَرٌ

Abdur-Rehman bin ‘Abdullah bin Ka’b bin Malik narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Ka’b said: “I heard Ka’b narrate the Hadith about when he stayed behind and did not join the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم on the expedition to Tabuk. He said: ‘The envoy of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم came to me and said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم commands you to keep away from your wife.” I said: “Shall i divorce her, or what should I do?” He said: “No, just keep away from her and do not approach her.” And he sent similar instructions to my o companions. I said to my wife: “Go to your family and stay with them until Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, decides concerning this matter.” They were contradicted by Ma’qil bin ‘Ubaidullah. (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَوْرٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ کَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ إِذَا رَسُولٌ مِنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ أَتَانِي فَقَالَ اعْتَزِلْ امْرَأَتَکَ فَقُلْتُ أُطَلِّقُهَا قَالَ لَا وَلَکِنْ لَا تَقْرَبْهَا وَلَمْ يَذْکُرْ فِيهِ الْحَقِي بِأَهْلِکِ

It was narrated from Ma’qil, from Az-Zuhri who said: “Abdur Rahman bin ‘Abdullah bin Ka’b narrated that his paternal uncle ‘Ubaidulláh bin Ka’b said: ‘I heard my father Ka’b say: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم sent word to me and my two companions saying: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم : commands you to keep away from your wives. I said to the envoy: Should I divorce my wife, or what should I do? He said: No, just keep away from her and do not come near her. I said to my wife: Go to your family and stay with them until Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, decides (concerning me). So she went to them.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَکِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ أَبِي کَثِيرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُعَتِّبٍ أَنَّ أَبَا حَسَنٍ مَوْلَی بَنِي نَوْفَلٍ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ کُنْتُ أَنَا وَامْرَأَتِي مَمْلُوکَيْنِ فَطَلَّقْتُهَا تَطْلِيقَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ أُعْتِقْنَا جَمِيعًا فَسَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ إِنْ رَاجَعْتَهَا کَانَتْ عِنْدَکَ عَلَی وَاحِدَةٍ قَضَی بِذَلِکَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَالَفَهُ مَعْمَرٌ

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ أَبِي کَثِيرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُعَتِّبٍ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ مَوْلَی بَنِي نَوْفَلٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ عَبْدٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ تَطْلِيقَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ عُتِقَا أَيَتَزَوَّجُهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ عَمَّنْ قَالَ أَفْتَی بِذَلِکَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَکِ لِمَعْمَرٍ الْحَسَنُ هَذَا مَنْ هُوَ لَقَدْ حَمَلَ صَخْرَةً عَظِيمَةً

It was narrated from ‘Abdur Rahman bin Ka’b bin Malik that his father said: “The envoy of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم came to me and said: ‘Keep away from your wife.’ I said: ‘Should I divorce her?’ He said: ‘No, but do not approach her.” And he (the narrator) did not mention (the words): “Go to your family.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْخَطْمِيِّ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ عَنْ کَثِيرِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنَا قُرَيْظَةَ أَنَّهُمْ عُرِضُوا عَلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ قُرَيْظَةَ فَمَنْ کَانَ مُحْتَلِمًا أَوْ نَبَتَتْ عَانَتُهُ قُتِلَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَکُنْ مُحْتَلِمًا أَوْ لَمْ تَنْبُتْ عَانَتُهُ تُرِکَ

It was narrated from ‘Umar bin Mu’attib that Abu Hasan, the freed slave of Banu Nawfal, said: “My wife and I were slaves, and I divorced her twice, then we were both set free. I asked Ibn ‘Abbas and he said: ‘If you take her back, you have two divorces left. This is how the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ruled.” (Da’if) Ma’mar contridicted him.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِکِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْقُرَظِيِّ قَالَ کُنْتُ يَوْمَ حُکْمِ سَعْدٍ فِي بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ غُلَامًا فَشَکُّوا فِيَّ فَلَمْ يَجِدُونِي أَنْبَتُّ فَاسْتُبْقِيتُ فَهَا أَنَا ذَا بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِکُمْ

It was narrated that Abu Al-Hasan, the freed slave of Banu Na said: “Ibn ‘Abbas was asked about a slave who divorced his wife twice, then they were set free; could he marry her? He said: ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘From whom (did you hear that)?’ He said: ‘The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم issued a Fatwa to that effect.” (Da’if) (One of the narrators) Abdur Razzaq said: “Ibn Al-Mubarak said to Ma’mar: ‘Which Al-I is this?’ He has taken on a heavy burden.”

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَرَضَهُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً فَلَمْ يُجِزْهُ وَعَرَضَهُ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً فَأَجَازَهُ

It was narrated that Kathir bin As-Sa’ib said: “The Sons of Qurai told me that they were presented to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم on the Day of Quraizah, and whoever (among them) had reached puberty, or had grown pubic hair, was killed, and whoever had not reached puberty and had not grown pubic hair was left (alive).” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلَاثٍ عَنْ النَّائِمِ حَتَّی يَسْتَيْقِظَ وَعَنْ الصَّغِيرِ حَتَّی يَکْبُرَ وَعَنْ الْمَجْنُونِ حَتَّی يَعْقِلَ أَوْ يُفِيقَ

It was narrated that ‘Atiyyah Al-Qurzi said: “On the day that Saad passed judgment on Banu uraizah I was a young boy and they were not sure about me, but they did not find any pubic hair, so they let me live, and here I am among you.” (Sahih).

أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَائٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَی تَجَاوَزَ عَنْ أُمَّتِي کُلَّ شَيْئٍ حَدَّثَتْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهَا مَا لَمْ تَکَلَّمْ بِهِ أَوْ تَعْمَلْ

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that he presented himself to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم on the Day of Uhud when he was fourteen years old, but he did not permit him (to join the army). He presented himself on the Day of Al when he was fifteen years old, and he permitted him (to join the army). (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَی عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ تَجَاوَزَ لِأُمَّتِي مَا وَسْوَسَتْ بِهِ وَحَدَّثَتْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهَا مَا لَمْ تَعْمَلْ أَوْ تَتَکَلَّمْ بِهِ

It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “The pen has been lifted from three: From the sleeper until he wakes up, from the minor until he grows up, and from the insane until he comes back to his senses or recovers.” (Hasan)

أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَی بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ شَيْبَانَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَی عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَی تَجَاوَزَ لِأُمَّتِي عَمَّا حَدَّثَتْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهَا مَا لَمْ تَکَلَّمْ أَوْ تَعْمَلْ بِهِ

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that — (one of the narrators) ‘Abdur-Rahman said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم — said: ‘Allah, the Most High, has forgiven my Ummah for everything that enters the mind, so long as it is not spoken of or put into action.” (Sahih)

بِهِ أَنْفُسَهَا مَا لَمْ تَکَلَّمْ أَوْ تَعْمَلْ بِهِ ← إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَی تَجَاوَزَ لِأُمَّتِي عَمَّا ← النَّبِيِّ ← أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ← زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى ← قَتَادَةَ ← شَيْبَانَ ← زَائِدَۃَ، ← حُسَيْنٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ ← مُوسَی بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ
