حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ رَأَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى عُمَرَ ثَوْبًا أَبْيَضَ فَقَالَ أَجَدِيدٌ ثَوْبُكَ أَمْ غَسِيلٌ فَقَالَ فَلَا أَدْرِي مَا رَدَّ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَسْ جَدِيدًا وَعِشْ حَمِيدًا وَمُتْ شَهِيدًا أَظُنُّهُ قَالَ وَيَرْزُقُكَ اللَّهُ قُرَّةَ عَيْنٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ

It was narrated that Ibn Umar said: The Prophet (PBUH) saw Umar wearing a white garment and he said: "Is it new or washed?" He (Ibn 'Umar) said: and i do not know what his response was. The Prophet (PBUH) said: “May you always wear new, live a praiseworthy life and die as a martyr." And I think he said; "May Allah grant you comfort in this world and the Hereafter.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ وَالثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ مَسْحَ الرُّكْنِ الْيَمَانِي وَالرُّكْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ يَحُطُّ الْخَطَايَا حَطًّا

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (PBUH) said: "Touching the Yemeni Corner and the Black (Stone) Corner erases sins effectively.”

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (PBUH) used to touch the Yemeni Corner but not the other two.

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) Abu Bakr, 'Umar and ihmaan used to halt in al-Abtah.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يُقِمْ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَيَجْلِسَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ قَالَ سَالِمٌ فَكَانَ الرَّجُلُ يَقُومُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ فَمَا يَجْلِسُ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "No one of you should make his brother get up and then sit in his spot" Saalim said: If a man stood up to give his place to Ibn 'Umar, he would not sit there.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَرَجُ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ إِذَا بَلَغَ الرَّجُلُ الْمُسْلِمُ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً آمَنَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ أَنْوَاعِ الْبَلَايَا مِنْ الْجُنُونِ وَالْبَرَصِ وَالْجُذَامِ وَإِذَا بَلَغَ الْخَمْسِينَ لَيَّنَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيْهِ حِسَابَهُ وَإِذَا بَلَغَ السِّتِّينَ رَزَقَهُ اللَّهُ إِنَابَةً يُحِبُّهُ عَلَيْهَا وَإِذَا بَلَغَ السَّبْعِينَ أَحَبَّهُ اللَّهُ وَأَحَبَّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ وَإِذَا بَلَغَ الثَّمَانِينَ تَقَبَّلَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ حَسَنَاتِهِ وَمَحَا عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ وَإِذَا بَلَغَ التِّسْعِينَ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ وَسُمِّيَ أَسِيرَ اللَّهِ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَشُفِّعَ فِي أَهْلِهِ

It was narrated that ibn Maalik said: If a Muslim are reaches the age of forty years, Allah will protect him "from al! kinds of calamity, from insanity and leprosy. If he reaches the age of fifty, Allah (PBUH) will made his reckoning easy. If he reaches the age of sixty, Allah will enable him to repent in such a way that He will love him for it. If he reaches the age of seventy, Allah will love him and the people of heaven will love him. If he reaches the age of eight)', Allah will accept his good deeds from him and erase his bad deeds. Jf he reaches the age of ninety, Allah will forgive him his past and future sins, and he will be called the prisoner of Allah on earth, and his intercession for his family will be accepted.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَشْتَرِي الذَّهَبَ بِالْفِضَّةِ أَوْ الْفِضَّةَ بِالذَّهَبِ قَالَ إِذَا اشْتَرَيْتَ وَاحِدًا مِنْهُمَا بِالْآخَرِ فَلَا يُفَارِقْكَ صَاحِبُكَ وَبَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ لَبْسٌ

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (PBUH): Can I buy gold for silver or silver for gold? He said: “If you buy one of them for the other, you and your counterpart should not separate until everything is clear (i.e., the exchange is complete).”

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ رُؤْيَا رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّاسَ اجْتَمَعُوا فَقَامَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَنَزَعَ ذَنُوبًا أَوْ ذَنُوبَيْنِ وَفِي نَزْعِهِ ضَعْفٌ وَاللَّهُ يَغْفِرُ لَهُ ثُمَّ قَامَ ابْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فَاسْتَحَالَتْ غَرْبًا فَمَا رَأَيْتُ عَبْقَرِيًّا مِنْ النَّاسِ يَفْرِي فَرِيَّهُ حَتَّى ضَرَبَ النَّاسُ بِعَطَنٍ

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar, concerning a dream of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) about Abu Bakr and 'Umar, that he (the Messenger of Allah (PBUH)) said: "I saw the people had gathered, then Abu Bakr came and drew one or two buckets [from a well], but there was some weakness in his drawing. May Allah forgive him. Then ibn al-Khattaab came and the bucket turned into a very large one in his hands. I had never seen such a mighty person as he in doing such hard work, until all the people (drank to their satisfaction) and watered their camels until they had had their fill."

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ أَمَّرَ أُسَامَةَ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ النَّاسَ يَعِيبُونَ أُسَامَةَ وَيَطْعَنُونَ فِي إِمَارَتِهِ فَقَامَ كَمَا حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّكُمْ تَعِيبُونَ أُسَامَةَ وَتَطْعَنُونَ فِي إِمَارَتِهِ وَقَدْ فَعَلْتُمْ ذَلِكَ فِي أَبِيهِ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَإِنْ كَانَ لَخَلِيقًا لِلْإِمَارَةِ وَإِنْ كَانَ لَأَحَبَّ النَّاسِ كُلِّهِمْ إِلَيَّ وَإِنَّ ابْنَهُ هَذَا بَعْدَهُ مِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ فَاسْتَوْصُوا بِهِ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ خِيَارِكُمْ

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar that when the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) appointed Usaamah (in charge of an army), he heard that the people were criticising Usaamah and objecting to his command. He stood up and said: "You criticise Usaamah and object to his command, and you did that to his father before him. But he was fit to command and he was one of the dearest of people to me, and this son of his is one of the dearest of people to me after him So treat him well, for he is one of the best of you."

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ لَقِيَ زَيْدَ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ بِأَسْفَلِ بَلْدَحَ وَذَلِكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْوَحْيُ فَقَدَّمَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُفْرَةً فِيهَا لَحْمٌ فَأَبَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مِنْهُ وَقَالَ إِنِّي لَا آكُلُ مِمَّا تَذْبَحُونَ عَلَى أَنْصَابِكُمْ وَلَا آكُلُ مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرْ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ

Saalim ibn Abdullah narrated that he heard Ibn 'Umar narrate from the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) that he met Zayd ibn 'Amr ibn Nufayl in the lower part of Baldah (a place near Makkah), and that was before tire revelation had come down to the Messenger of Allah. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) offered him some food in which there was meat. He refused to eat it and said: I do not eat that which you slaughter on your altars and I do not eat that on which the name of Allah was not mentioned.
