حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَنْبَأَنَا حَبِيبُ بْنُ الشَّهِيدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ لِابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَتَذْكُرُ إِذْ تَلَقَّيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا وَأَنْتَ وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَحَمَلَنَا وَتَرَكَكَ وَقَالَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ مَرَّةً أَتَذْكُرُ إِذْ تَلَقَّيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا وَأَنْتَ وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ فَحَمَلَنَا وَتَرَكَكَ

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Abi Mulaikah said: 'Abdullah bin Ja'far said to Ibn az- Zubair: Do you remember when we met the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), me, you and Ibn 'Abbas? He said: Yes. He said: And he carried us on his mount and left you. - Isma'eel said on one occasion: Do you remember when we met the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) me, you, and Ibn 'Abbas? He said: Yes, and he carried us and left you.

عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ لاِبْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ← عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، ← حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ ← إِسْمَاعِيلَ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ مُوَرِّقٍ الْعِجْلِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ تُلُقِّيَ بِالصِّبْيَانِ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ قَالَ وَإِنَّهُ قَدِمَ مَرَّةً مِنْ سَفَرٍ قَالَ فَسُبِقَ بِي إِلَيْهِ قَالَ فَحَمَلَنِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ قَالَ ثُمَّ جِيءَ بِأَحَدِ ابْنَيْ فَاطِمَةَ إِمَّا حَسَنٍ وَإِمَّا حُسَيْنٍ فَأَرْدَفَهُ خَلْفَهُ قَالَ فَدَخَلْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ ثَلَاثَةً عَلَى دَابَّةٍ

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Ja'far said: When the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) returned from a journey, he would be met by the boys of his household. On one occasion he came from a journey, and others beat me to him. But he carried me in front of him (on his mount). Then one of the two sons of Fatimah came, either Hasan or Husain, and he put him behind him. And we entered adinah, three on one mount.

عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ← مُوَرِّقٍ الْعِجْلِيِّ، ← عَاصِمٍ، ← أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ حَدَّثَنِي شَيْخٌ مِنْ فَهْمٍ قَالَ وَأَظُنُّهُ يُسَمَّى مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ وَأَظُنُّهُ حِجَازِيًّا أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ يُحَدِّثُ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ وَقَدْ نُحِرَتْ لِلْقَوْمِ جَزُورٌ أَوْ بَعِيرٌ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالْقَوْمُ يُلْقُونَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّحْمَ يَقُولُ أَطْيَبُ اللَّحْمِ لَحْمُ الظَّهْرِ

Mis'ar told us: An old man of Fahm - he said: I think he was called Muhammad bin 'Abdur- Rahman, and I think he was from the Hijaz - told us that he heard 'Abdullah bin ja'far tell Ibn az- Zubair, when a camel had been slaughtered for the people, that he heard the Messenger of Allah say, when the people were putting meat in front of him: "The best meat is the meat from the back."

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَنْبَأَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ مَوْلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ أَرْدَفَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ خَلْفَهُ فَأَسَرَّ إِلَيَّ حَدِيثًا لَا أُخْبِرُ بِهِ أَحَدًا أَبَدًا وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحَبُّ مَا اسْتَتَرَ بِهِ فِي حَاجَتِهِ هَدَفٌ أَوْ حَائِشُ نَخْلٍ فَدَخَلَ يَوْمًا حَائِطًا مِنْ حِيطَانِ الْأَنْصَارِ فَإِذَا جَمَلٌ قَدْ أَتَاهُ فَجَرْجَرَ وَذَرَفَتْ عَيْنَاهُ قَالَ بَهْزٌ وَعَفَّانُ فَلَمَّا رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَنَّ وَذَرَفَتْ عَيْنَاهُ فَمَسَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَرَاتَهُ وَذِفْرَاهُ فَسَكَنَ فَقَالَ مَنْ صَاحِبُ الْجَمَلِ فَجَاءَ فَتًى مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ هُوَ لِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ أَمَا تَتَّقِي اللَّهَ فِي هَذِهِ الْبَهِيمَةِ الَّتِي مَلَّكَكَهَا اللَّهُ إِنَّهُ شَكَا إِلَيَّ أَنَّكَ تُجِيعُهُ وَتُدْئِبُهُ

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Ja'far said: One day the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) seated me behind him on his mount, then he told me something in secret that I will never tell to anyone. When he relieved himself, what the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) liked best to conceal himself with was a small hill or a duster of date palms. One day he entered one of the gardens of the Ansar where he found a camel that came to him, groaning with tears in its eyes. - Bahz and 'Affan said: When it saw the Prophet (PBUH) it groaned with tears in its eyes. - The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) stroked its back and behind its ears and it calmed down. He said: "Who is the owner of this camel?" A young man of the Ansar came and said: It belongs to me, O Messenger of Allah. He said: "Do you not fear Allah with regard to this animal that Allah has put in your possession? It is complaining to me that you keep it hungry and overburden it with work."

عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ← الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ مَوْلَی الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ← مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ، ← مَهْدِيٌّ، ← بهز وعفان ← عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ← الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ← مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ، ← مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ ← يَزِيدُ:

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي رَافِعٍ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَمِينِهِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ رَأَى عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَمِينِهِ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَمِينِهِ

Hammad bin Salamah told us: I saw Ibn Abu Rafi' wearing a ring on his right hand. I asked him about that and he said that he saw "Abdullah bin Ja'far wearing a ring on his right hand, and "Abdullah bin Jaffar said: The Messenger of Allah PBUH) wore a ring on his right hand.

ذَلِكَ، ← رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي رَافِعٍ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَمِينِهِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ ← حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ← يَزِيدُ:

حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُسَافِعٍ أَنَّ مُصْعَبَ بْنَ شَيْبَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ شَكَّ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ

It was narrated from "Uqbah bin Muhammad bin al- Harith - Hajjaj said: "Utbah bin Muhammad bin al-Harith - from "Abdullah bin Ja'far that the Prophet (PBUH) said: "Whoever is not sure about his prayer, let him prostrate twice whilst he is sitting,"

عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُسَافِعٍ، ← ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، ← رَوْحٌ،

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى وَيَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ أُمِّ كِلَابٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا ذِي الْجَنَاحَيْنِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا عَطَسَ حَمِدَ اللَّهَ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ فَيَقُولُ يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ

It was narrated from "Abdullah bin Ja'far - Yahya bin Ishaq said: I heard "Abdullah binJa'far say; and one of them said; the one with the two wings - that when the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) sneezed, he would praise Allah. It would be said to him; May Allah have mercy on you, and he would say: May Allah guide you and rectify your condition.

عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ← يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ← عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ← عُبَيْدَ بْنَ أُمِّ كِلَابٍ، ← أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ ← ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ← إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى وَيَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ بَابٍ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ آخِرَ مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ رُطَبَاتٌ وَفِي الْأُخْرَى قِثَّاءٌ وَهُوَ يَأْكُلُ مِنْ هَذِهِ وَيَعَضُّ مِنْ هَذِهِ وَقَالَ إِنَّ أَطْيَبَ الشَّاةِ لَحْمُ الظَّهْرِ

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Ja'far that he said; The last time I saw the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) , he had fresh dates in one hand and cucumber in the other, and he was eating one and taking a bite from the other. And he said: "The best part of the sheep is meat from the back."

عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ← قَتَادَةَ ← حَجَّاجٌ: ← نَصْرُ بْنُ بَابٍ

حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَيْشًا اسْتَعْمَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ زَيْدَ بْنَ حَارِثَةَ وَقَالَ فَإِنْ قُتِلَ زَيْدٌ أَوْ اسْتُشْهِدَ فَأَمِيرُكُمْ جَعْفَرٌ فَإِنْ قُتِلَ أَوْ اسْتُشْهِدَ فَأَمِيرُكُمْ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَوَاحَةَ فَلَقُوا الْعَدُوَّ فَأَخَذَ الرَّايَةَ زَيْدٌ فَقَاتَلَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ الرَّايَةَ جَعْفَرٌ فَقَاتَلَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ ثُمَّ أَخَذَهَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَوَاحَةَ فَقَاتَلَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ الرَّايَةَ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ فَفَتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَتَى خَبَرُهُمْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَرَجَ إِلَى النَّاسِ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَقَالَ إِنَّ إِخْوَانَكُمْ لَقُوا الْعَدُوَّ وَإِنَّ زَيْدًا أَخَذَ الرَّايَةَ فَقَاتَلَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ أَوْ اسْتُشْهِدَ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ الرَّايَةَ بَعْدَهُ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَقَاتَلَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ أَوْ اسْتُشْهِدَ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ الرَّايَةَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَوَاحَةَ فَقَاتَلَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ أَوْ اسْتُشْهِدَ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ الرَّايَةَ سَيْفٌ مِنْ سُيُوفِ اللَّهِ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ فَفَتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ فَأَمْهَلَ ثُمَّ أَمْهَلَ آلَ جَعْفَرٍ ثَلَاثًا أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ ثُمَّ أَتَاهُمْ فَقَالَ لَا تَبْكُوا عَلَى أَخِي بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ أَوْ غَدٍ ادْعُوا لِي ابْنَيْ أَخِي قَالَ فَجِيءَ بِنَا كَأَنَّا أَفْرُخٌ فَقَالَ ادْعُوا إِلَيَّ الْحَلَّاقَ فَجِيءَ بِالْحَلَّاقِ فَحَلَقَ رُءُوسَنَا ثُمَّ قَالَ أَمَّا مُحَمَّدٌ فَشَبِيهُ عَمِّنَا أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَأَمَّا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فَشَبِيهُ خَلْقِي وَخُلُقِي ثُمَّ أَخَذَ بِيَدِي فَأَشَالَهَا فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اخْلُفْ جَعْفَرًا فِي أَهْلِهِ وَبَارِكْ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ فِي صَفْقَةِ يَمِينِهِ قَالَهَا ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ قَالَ فَجَاءَتْ أُمُّنَا فَذَكَرَتْ لَهُ يُتْمَنَا وَجَعَلَتْ تُفْرِحُ لَهُ فَقَالَ الْعَيْلَةَ تَخَافِينَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنَا وَلِيُّهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Ja'far said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) sent out an army and appointed in charge of them Zaid bin Harithah. He said: "If Zaid is killed or martyred, then your commander is Ja'far. If he is killed or martyred, then your commander is 'Abdullah bin Rawahah." Zaid took the banner and fought until he was killed; then Ja'far took the banner and fought until he was killed; then 'Abdullah bin Rawahah took the banner and fought until he was killed. Then Khalid bin al-Waleed took the banner and Allah granted victory to him. News of that came to the Prophet (PBUH) and he went out to the people; he praised and glorified Allah, then he said: "Your brothers met the enemy; Zaid took the banner and fought until he was killed - or martyred; then Ja'far took the banner after him and fought until he was killed - or martyred; then 'Abdullah bin Rawahah took the banner and fought until he was killed - or martyred. Then one of the swords of Allah, Khalid bin al-Waleed, took the banner and Allah granted victory to him." He did not go to Ja'far's family for three days (letting them grieve). Then he went to them and said: "Do not weep for my brother after today. Call the two sons of my brother for me." Then we were brought like chicks and he said: "Call the barber for me." The barber was brought and he shaved our heads, then [the Prophet (PBUH)] said: "As for Muhammad, he resembles our uncle Abu Talib, and as for 'Abdullah, he resembles me physically and in attitude." Then he took my hand and held it and said: "O Allah, take care of Ja'far's family after him and bless 'Abdullah in his business dealings." He said it three times. Then our mother came and told him about how we were now orphans. He said: "Do you fear poverty for them when I am their guardian in this world and in the Hereafter?”

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ لَمَّا جَاءَ نَعْيُ جَعْفَرٍ حِينَ قُتِلَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اصْنَعُوا لِآلِ جَعْفَرٍ طَعَامًا فَقَدْ أَتَاهُمْ أَمْرٌ يَشْغَلُهُمْ أَوْ أَتَاهُمْ مَا يَشْغَلُهُمْ

It was narrated that pu. it 'Abdullah bin Ja'far said: When news of Jaffar's death came, when he was killed, the Prophet said: "Make food for the family of ne was Kmea, tne nropnet said: Make food for the family Ja'far, for there has come to them something that has preoccupied them.”

عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ← أَبِيهِ ← جعفر بن خالد ← سُفْيَانَ،

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُسَافِعٍ أَنَّ مُصْعَبَ بْنَ شَيْبَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ شَكَّ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ بَعْدَمَا يُسَلِّمُ

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin ja'far that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Who If ever is not sure about his prayer, let him prostrate twice after he says the salain."

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin ja'far that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Who If ever is not sure about his prayer, let him prostrate twice after he says the salain."
