حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ الْبَرَائِ قَالَ أُهْدِيَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَوْبُ حَرِيرٍ فَجَعَلُوا يَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ لِينِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ هَذَا لَمَنَادِيلُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ هَذَا وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

Narrated Al-Bara: A garment of silk was gifted to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) so they began to marvel at its softness, so the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Do you marvel at this? Indeed, the handkerchiefs of Sa'd bin Mu'adh in Paradise are better than this.'

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ وَجَنَازَةُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ اهْتَزَّ لَهُ عَرْشُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أُسَيْدِ بْنِ حُضَيْرٍ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَرُمَيْثَةَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), saying while the funeral of Sa'd bin Mu'adh was in front of them: 'The Throne of Ar-Rahman shook due to it.'

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ قَالَ لَمَّا حُمِلَتْ جَنَازَةُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ قَالَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ مَا أَخَفَّ جَنَازَتَهُ وَذَلِکَ لِحُکْمِهِ فِي بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِکَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الْمَلَائِکَةَ کَانَتْ تَحْمِلُهُ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ

Narrated Anas bin Malik: When the funeral of Sa'd bin Mu'adh was carried, the hypocrites said: 'How light his funeral is.' And this was due to his judgment concerning Banu Quraizah. So this reached the Prophet (ﷺ), and he said: 'Indeed, the angels were carrying him.'
