أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جَابِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا الدَّرْدَائِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ابْغُونِي الضَّعِيفَ فَإِنَّکُمْ إِنَّمَا تُرْزَقُونَ وَتُنْصَرُونَ بِضُعَفَائِکُمْ

It was narrated from Jubair bin Nufair Al-Hadrami that he heard Abu Ad-Darda’ say: “I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم say: ‘Bring me the weak, for you oniy receive provision and Divine support by virtue of your weak ones.” (Sahih)

جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، ← زَيْدُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ ← ابْنِ جَابِرٍ، ← عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ، ← يَحْيَی بْنُ عُثْمَانَ

أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْکِينٍ قِرَائَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ عَنْ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ بُکَيْرِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا

It was narrated from Zaid bin Khalid that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Whoever equips a warrior in the cause of Allah has fought, and whoever looks after his family in his absence has fought.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ يَحْيَی عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا

It was narrated that Zaid bin Kbalid Al-Juhani said: “The essenger of Allah said: ‘Whoever equips a warrior has fought, and whoever looks after his family in his absence has fought.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حُصَيْنَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَاوَانَ عَنْ الْأَحْنَفِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ قَالَ خَرَجْنَا حُجَّاجًا فَقَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ وَنَحْنُ نُرِيدُ الْحَجَّ فَبَيْنَا نَحْنُ فِي مَنَازِلِنَا نَضَعُ رِحَالَنَا إِذْ أَتَانَا آتٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ اجْتَمَعُوا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَفَزِعُوا فَانْطَلَقْنَا فَإِذَا النَّاسُ مُجْتَمِعُونَ عَلَی نَفَرٍ فِي وَسَطِ الْمَسْجِدِ وَفِيهِمْ عَلِيٌّ وَالزُّبَيْرُ وَطَلْحَةُ وَسَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ فَإِنَّا لَکَذَلِکَ إِذْ جَائَ عُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَلَيْهِ مُلَائَةٌ صَفْرَائُ قَدْ قَنَّعَ بِهَا رَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ أَهَاهُنَا طَلْحَةُ أَهَاهُنَا الزُّبَيْرُ أَهَاهُنَا سَعْدٌ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ فَإِنِّي أَنْشُدُکُمْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ أَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ يَبْتَاعُ مِرْبَدَ بَنِي فُلَانٍ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ فَابْتَعْتُهُ بِعِشْرِينَ أَلْفًا أَوْ بِخَمْسَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ أَلْفًا فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ فَقَالَ اجْعَلْهُ فِي مَسْجِدِنَا وَأَجْرُهُ لَکَ قَالُوا اللَّهُمَّ نَعَمْ قَالَ أَنْشُدُکُمْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ أَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ ابْتَاعَ بِئْرَ رُومَةَ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ فَابْتَعْتُهَا بِکَذَا وَکَذَا فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ قَدْ ابْتَعْتُهَا بِکَذَا وَکَذَا قَالَ اجْعَلْهَا سِقَايَةً لَلْمُسْلِمِينَ وَأَجْرُهَا لَکَ قَالُوا اللَّهُمَّ نَعَمْ قَالَ أَنْشُدُکُمْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ أَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَظَرَ فِي وُجُوهِ الْقَوْمِ فَقَالَ مَنْ يُجَهِّزُ هَؤُلَائِ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ يَعْنِي جَيْشَ الْعُسْرَةِ فَجَهَّزْتُهُمْ حَتَّی لَمْ يَفْقِدُوا عِقَالًا وَلَا خِطَامًا فَقَالُوا اللَّهُمَّ نَعَمْ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ

It was narrated that Al Ahnaf bin Qais said: “We set out as pilgrims and came to Al Madinah intending to perform Hajj. While we were in our camping place unloading our mounts, someone came to us and said: ‘The people have gathered in the Masjid and there is panic.’ So we set out and found the people gathered around a group in he middle of the Masjid, among whom were ‘Ali, Zubayr, Talhah and Saad bin Abl WaqqaWhile we were like that, ‘Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him, came, wearing a yellow cloak with which he had covered his head. He said: ‘Is Talhah here? Is Az-Zubair here? Is Saad here?’ They said: ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘I adjure you by the One beside Whom there is none worthy of worship, didn’t the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم say: Whoever buys the Mirbad of Banu so-and-so, Allah will forgive him, and I bought it for twenty or twenty-five thousand, then I came to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and told him, and he said: Add it to our Masjid and the reward for it will be yours?’ They said: ‘By Allah, yes.’ He said: ‘I adjure you by the One beside Whom there is none worthy of worship, didn’t the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم say: Whoever buys the well of Rflmah, Allah will forgive him, so I bought it for such and such an amount, then I came to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and told him, and he said: Give it to provide water for the Muslims, and the reward for it will be yours?’ They said: ‘By Allah, yes.’ He said: ‘I adjure you by the One beside Whom there is none worthy of worship, didn’t the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم say: Whoever equips these (men) — meaning the army of Al-’Usrah (Tabuk) — Allah will forgive him, so I equipped them until they were not lacking even a rope or a bridle?’ They said: ‘By Allah, yes.’ He said: ‘Allah, bear witness, Allah, bear witness, Allah, bear witness.” (Hasan)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْکِينٍ قِرَائَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ عَنْ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِکٌ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ أَنْفَقَ زَوْجَيْنِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ نُودِيَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ هَذَا خَيْرٌ فَمَنْ کَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصَّلَاةِ دُعِيَ مِنْ بَابِ الصَّلَاةِ وَمَنْ کَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجِهَادِ دُعِيَ مِنْ بَابِ الْجِهَادِ وَمَنْ کَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصَّدَقَةِ دُعِيَ مِنْ بَابِ الصَّدَقَةِ وَمَنْ کَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصِّيَامِ دُعِيَ مِنْ بَابِ الرَّيَّانِ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَکْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ هَلْ عَلَی مَنْ دُعِيَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأَبْوَابِ مِنْ ضَرُورَةٍ فَهَلْ يُدْعَی أَحَدٌ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأَبْوَابِ کُلِّهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ وَأَرْجُو أَنْ تَکُونَ مِنْهُمْ

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Whoever spends on a pair (of things) in the cause of Allah will be called in Paradise: ‘slave of Allah, here is prosperity.’ Whoever is one of the people of Salah, he will be called from the gate of paradise. Whoever is one of the people of Jihad, he will be called from the gate of Paradise. Whoever is one of the people of charity, he will be called from the gate of Paradise. Whoever is one of the people who fast, he will be called from the gate of Ar Rayyan.” Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, no distress or need will befall the one who is called from those gates. Will there be anyone who will be called from all these gates?” The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Yes, and I hope that you will be one of them.” (Sahih)

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ← حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ← ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ← مَالِكٍ، ← ابْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، ← اَسْمَعُ ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْکِينٍ

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَی عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو سَلمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَنْفَقَ زَوْجَيْنِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ دَعَتْهُ خَزَنَةُ الْجَنَّةِ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ يَا فُلَانُ هَلُمَّ فَادْخُلْ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَکْرٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ذَاکَ الَّذِي لَا تَوَی عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ تَکُونَ مِنْهُمْ

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘Whoever spends on a pair (of things) in the cause of Allah, the gatekeepers of Paradise will call him from the gates of Paradise (saying): So-and-so, come and enter!’ Abu Bakr said: ‘Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, such a person will never perish or be miserable.’ The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘I hope that you will be one of them.” (Sahih)

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ← أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ← يَحْيَى ← الْاَوْزَاعِیُّ ← بَقِيَّةُ، ← عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ،

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ صَعْصَعَةَ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ لَقِيتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ قَالَ قُلْتُ حَدِّثْنِي قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يُنْفِقُ مِنْ کُلِّ مَالٍ لَهُ زَوْجَيْنِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا اسْتَقْبَلَتْهُ حَجَبَةُ الْجَنَّةِ کُلُّهُمْ يَدْعُوهُ إِلَی مَا عِنْدَهُ قُلْتُ وَکَيْفَ ذَلِکَ قَالَ إِنْ کَانَتْ إِبِلًا فَبَعِيرَيْنِ وَإِنْ کَانَتْ بَقَرًا فَبَقَرَتَيْنِ

It was narrated that Sa’sa’ah bin Muawiyah said: “I met Abu Dharr and said: ‘Tell me a Hadith.’ He said. Yes, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: There is no Muslim worshipper who spends from each type of his wealth on a pair (of things) in the cause of Allah, but the keepers of Paradise will welcome him, all of them calling him to what they have (of reward).’ I said: “How is that?” He said: “If it is camels, he gives two, and if it is cows, he gives two.” (Sahih)

صَعْصَعَةُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، ← الْحَسَنُ، ← يونس، ← بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، ← إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي النَّضْرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ الرُّکَيْنِ الْفَزَارِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ يُسَيْرِ ابْنِ عَمِيلَةَ عَنْ خُرَيْمِ بْنِ فَاتِکٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَنْفَقَ نَفَقَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ کُتِبَتْ لَهُ بِسَبْعِ مِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ

It was narrated that Khuraim bin Fatik said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘Whoever spends in the cause of Allah, it will be recorded for him seven hundred fold.” (Sahih)

خُرَيْمِ بْنِ فَاتِكٍ، ← يُسَيْرِ ابْنِ عَمِيلَةَ ← أَبِيهِ ← الرُّكَيْنِ الْفَزَارِيِّ ← سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، ← عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ ← أَبُو النَّضْرِ ← أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي النَّضْرِ،

أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيَّ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا تَصَدَّقَ بِنَاقَةٍ مَخْطُومَةٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيَأْتِيَنَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِسَبْعِ مِائَةِ نَاقَةٍ مَخْطُومَةٍ

It was narrated from Abu Mas’fld that a man gave a bridled camel in charity in the cause of Allah. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “On the Day of Resurrection seven hundred bridled camels will come to you.” (Sahih)

أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، ← أَبَا عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيَّ، ← سُلَیْمَانَ ← شُعْبَةُ ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ← بِشْرُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ عَنْ بَحِيرٍ عَنْ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَحْرِيَّةَ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْغَزْوُ غَزْوَانِ فَأَمَّا مَنْ ابْتَغَی وَجْهَ اللَّهِ وَأَطَاعَ الْإِمَامَ وَأَنْفَقَ الْکَرِيمَةَ وَيَاسَرَ الشَّرِيکَ وَاجْتَنَبَ الْفَسَادَ کَانَ نَوْمُهُ وَنُبْهُهُ أَجْرًا کُلُّهُ وَأَمَّا مَنْ غَزَا رِيَائً وَسُمْعَةً وَعَصَی الْإِمَامَ وَأَفْسَدَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَرْجِعُ بِالْکَفَافِ

It was narrated from Muadh bin Jabal that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Campaigns are of two types. As for the one who seek the Face of Allah, obeys the imam, spends what is precious to him, is easy-going with his companion and avoids mischief, when he is asleep and when he is awake, it will all bring reward. But as for the one who fights to show off, and he disobeys the imam and does mischief in the land, he will not come back the same as when he left.” (Sahih)

مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ ← أَبِي بَحْرِيَّةَ ← خَالِدٌ، ← بَحِيرٍ، ← بَقِيَّةُ، ← عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ،

أَخْبَرَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ وَاللَّفْظُ لِحُسَيْنٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حُرْمَةُ نِسَائِ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ عَلَی الْقَاعِدِينَ کَحُرْمَةِ أُمَّهَاتِهِمْ وَمَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَخْلُفُ فِي امْرَأَةِ رَجُلٍ مِنْ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ فَيَخُونُهُ فِيهَا إِلَّا وُقِفَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَأَخَذَ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ مَا شَائَ فَمَا ظَنُّکُمْ

It was narrated from Sulaiman bin Buraidah that his father said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘The sanctity of the wives of the MujahidIn to those who stay behind is like the sanctity of their mothers. There is no man who takes on the responsibility of looking after the wife of one of the MujahidIn and betrays him with her but he (the betrayer) will be made to stand before him on the Day of Resurrection and he will take whatever he wants of his (good) deeds. So what do you think?” (Sahih)

أَبِيهِ ← سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، ← عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، ← سُفْيَانَ، ← وَكِيعٌ، ← حُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ وَاللَّفْظُ لِحُسَيْنٍ

أَخْبَرَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرَمِيُّ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ حُرْمَةُ نِسَائِ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ عَلَی الْقَاعِدِينَ کَحُرْمَةِ أُمَّهَاتِهِمْ وَإِذَا خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ فَخَانَهُ قِيلَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ هَذَا خَانَکَ فِي أَهْلِکَ فَخُذْ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ مَا شِئْتَ فَمَا ظَنُّکُمْ

It was narrated from Sulaiman bin Buraidah, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “The sanctity of the wives of the MujahidIn to those who stay behind is like the sanctity of their mothers. If he takes on the responsibility of looking after his wife then betrays him, it will be said to him on the Day of Resurrection: ‘This one betrayed you with your wife, so take whatever you want of his good deeds.’ So what do you think?” (Sahih)
