و أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ عَلَی الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ إِنَّکُمْ مُلَاقُو اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حُفَاةً عُرَاةً غُرْلًا

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم delivering a Khutbah from the Minbar and he said: ‘You will meet Allah barefoot, naked and uncircumcised.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عُرَاةً غُرْلًا وَأَوَّلُ الْخَلَائِقِ يُکْسَی إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام ثُمَّ قَرَأَ کَمَا بَدَأْنَا أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُعِيدُهُ

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “The people will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection naked and uncircumcised. The first one to be clothed will be Ibrahim “ Then he recited: As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it.(Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الزُّبَيْدِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يُبْعَثُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حُفَاةً عُرَاةً غُرْلًا فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ فَکَيْفَ بِالْعَوْرَاتِ قَالَ لِکُلِّ امْرِئٍ مِنْهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ شَأْنٌ يُغْنِيهِ

It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘The people will be raised up on the Day of Resurrection barefoot, iaked and uncircumcised.” ‘Aishah ….: “What about their ‘Awrahs?” Le said: “Every man that day will lave enough to make him careless of ers.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يُونُسَ الْقُشَيْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْکَةَ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّکُمْ تُحْشَرُونَ حُفَاةً عُرَاةً قُلْتُ الرِّجَالُ وَالنِّسَائُ يَنْظُرُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَی بَعْضٍ قَالَ إِنَّ الْأَمْرَ أَشَدُّ مِنْ أَنْ يُهِمَّهُمْ ذَلِکَ

It was narrated from ‘Aishah t the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “You will “ (on the Day of Resurrection) barefoot and naked.” I said: “Men and women looking at one another?” He said: “The matter will be too difficult for people to pay attention to that.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَکِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ أَبُو بَکْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَی ثَلَاثِ طَرَائِقَ رَاغِبِينَ رَاهِبِينَ اثْنَانِ عَلَی بَعِيرٍ وَثَلَاثَةٌ عَلَی بَعِيرٍ وَأَرْبَعَةٌ عَلَی بَعِيرٍ وَعَشْرَةٌ عَلَی بَعِيرٍ وَتَحْشُرُ بَقِيَّتَهُمْ النَّارُ تَقِيلُ مَعَهُمْ حَيْثُ قَالُوا وَتَبِيتُ مَعَهُمْ حَيْثُ بَاتُوا وَتُصْبِحُ مَعَهُمْ حَيْثُ أَصْبَحُوا وَتُمْسِي مَعَهُمْ حَيْثُ أَمْسَوْا

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘The people will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection in three ways. (The first will be) those who have the hope (of Paradise) and the fear (of punishment). (The second will be) those who come riding two on a camel, or three on a camel, or four on a camel, or ten on a camel. And the rest of them will be gathered by the Fire which will accompany them, stopping with them where they rest in the afternoon, and staying with them where they stop overnight, and staying with them wherever they are in the morning, and in the evening.” (Sahih).

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ جُمَيْعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الطُّفَيْلِ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ إِنَّ الصَّادِقَ الْمَصْدُوقَ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدَّثَنِي أَنَّ النَّاسَ يُحْشَرُونَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَفْوَاجٍ فَوْجٌ رَاکِبِينَ طَاعِمِينَ کَاسِينَ وَفَوْجٌ تَسْحَبُهُمْ الْمَلَائِکَةُ عَلَی وُجُوهِهِمْ وَتَحْشُرُهُمْ النَّارُ وَفَوْجٌ يَمْشُونَ وَيَسْعَوْنَ يُلْقِي اللَّهُ الْآفَةَ عَلَی الظَّهْرِ فَلَا يَبْقَی حَتَّی إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَتَکُونُ لَهُ الْحَدِيقَةُ يُعْطِيهَا بِذَاتِ الْقَتَبِ لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهَا

It was narrated that Abu rr said: “The truthful one • people believe told me: ‘The people will be gathered in three groups: A group who will be , well fed and well clothed; a – – ….., whom the angels will drag on their faces and whom the fire wifi drive; and a group who will be with difficulty. Allah willa disease to kill all the riding s and none will remain, until a man would give a garden for a she camel but he will not be able to have it.” (Hasan)

أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا وَکِيعٌ وَوَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْمَوْعِظَةِ فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّکُمْ مَحْشُورُونَ إِلَی اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عُرَاةً قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ حُفَاةً غُرْلًا وَقَالَ وَکِيعٌ وَوَهْبٌ عُرَاةً غُرْلًا کَمَا بَدَأْنَا أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُعِيدُهُ قَالَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ يُکْسَی يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام وَإِنَّهُ سَيُؤْتَی قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ يُجَائُ وَقَالَ وَهْبٌ وَوَکِيعٌ سَيُؤْتَی بِرِجَالٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي فَيُؤْخَذُ بِهِمْ ذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ فَأَقُولُ رَبِّ أَصْحَابِي فَيُقَالُ إِنَّکَ لَا تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بَعْدَکَ فَأَقُولُ کَمَا قَالَ الْعَبْدُ الصَّالِحُ وَکُنْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا مَا دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيْتَنِي إِلَی قَوْلِهِ وَإِنْ تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ الْآيَةَ فَيُقَالُ إِنَّ هَؤُلَائِ لَمْ يَزَالُوا مُدْبِرِينَ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ مُرْتَدِّينَ عَلَی أَعْقَابِهِمْ مُنْذُ فَارَقْتَهُمْ

It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said: “The Messenger of stood up to give an hionition and he said: ‘people, u will be gathered to Allah ed.” (One of the narrators) Abu awud said: “Barefoot and UflCircurncised” (The narrators) ‘ and Wahb said: “Naked and rcumcised: As We began the t creation, We shall repeat it.” ….The first one to be clothed on the Day of Resurrection will be Ibrahim, peace be upon him. Then some men from among my Ummah will be brought and will be taken toward the leftJ I will say: ‘Lord, my companions.’ It will be said: ‘You do not know what they innovated after you were gone.’ And I shall say what the righteous slave said: ‘And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them; and You are a Witness to all things. If You punish them, they are Your slaves, and if You forgive them, verily, You, only You, are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.’ And it will be said: ‘These people kept turning away since you left them.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي الزَّرْقَائِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ کَانَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا جَلَسَ يَجْلِسُ إِلَيْهِ نَفَرٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ وَفِيهِمْ رَجُلٌ لَهُ ابْنٌ صَغِيرٌ يَأْتِيهِ مِنْ خَلْفِ ظَهْرِهِ فَيُقْعِدُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَهَلَکَ فَامْتَنَعَ الرَّجُلُ أَنْ يَحْضُرَ الْحَلْقَةَ لِذِکْرِ ابْنِهِ فَحَزِنَ عَلَيْهِ فَفَقَدَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مَالِي لَا أَرَی فُلَانًا قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ بُنَيُّهُ الَّذِي رَأَيْتَهُ هَلَکَ فَلَقِيَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ بُنَيِّهِ فَأَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ هَلَکَ فَعَزَّاهُ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا فُلَانُ أَيُّمَا کَانَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْکَ أَنْ تَمَتَّعَ بِهِ عُمُرَکَ أَوْ لَا تَأْتِي غَدًا إِلَی بَابٍ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَّا وَجَدْتَهُ قَدْ سَبَقَکَ إِلَيْهِ يَفْتَحُهُ لَکَ قَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ بَلْ يَسْبِقُنِي إِلَی بَابِ الْجَنَّةِ فَيَفْتَحُهَا لِي لَهُوَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ قَالَ فَذَاکَ لَکَ

“When the Prophet of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم sat, some of his Companions would sit with him. Among them was a man who had a little son who used to come to him from behind, and he would make him sit in front of him. He (the child) died, and the man stopped attending the circle because it reminded him of his son, —d made him feel sad. The missed him and said: Why do I not see so-and-so?’ They said: ‘Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, his son whom you saw has died.’ The prophet met him and asked him about his son, and he told him that be had died. He offered his condolences and said: ‘so-and so, which would you like better, to enjoy his company all your life, or to come to any of the gates of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection, and find that he arrived there before you, and he is opening the gate for you?’ He said: ‘Prophet of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم! For him to get to the gate of Paradise before me and open it for me is dearer to me.’ He said: ‘You will have that.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أُرْسِلَ مَلَکُ الْمَوْتِ إِلَی مُوسَی عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام فَلَمَّا جَائَهُ صَکَّهُ فَفَقَأَ عَيْنَهُ فَرَجَعَ إِلَی رَبِّهِ فَقَالَ أَرْسَلْتَنِي إِلَی عَبْدٍ لَا يُرِيدُ الْمَوْتَ فَرَدَّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيْهِ عَيْنَهُ وَقَالَ ارْجِعْ إِلَيْهِ فَقُلْ لَهُ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ عَلَی مَتْنِ ثَوْرٍ فَلَهُ بِکُلِّ مَا غَطَّتْ يَدُهُ بِکُلِّ شَعْرَةٍ سَنَةٌ قَالَ أَيْ رَبِّ ثُمَّ مَهْ قَالَ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ فَالْآنَ فَسَأَلَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْ يُدْنِيَهُ مِنْ الْأَرْضِ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ رَمْيَةً بِحَجَرٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَوْ کُنْتُ ثَمَّ لَأَرَيْتُکُمْ قَبْرَهُ إِلَی جَانِبِ الطَّرِيقِ تَحْتَ الْکَثِيبِ الْأَحْمَرِ

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The angel of death was sent to Musa, peace be upon him, and when he came to him, he slapped him and put his eye out. He went back to his Lord and said: ‘You sent me to a slave who does not want death.’ Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, restored his eye and said: ‘Go back to him and tell him to put his hand on the back of a bull, and for every hair that his hand covers he will have one year.’ He said: ‘Lord, then what?’ He said: ‘Death.’ He said: ‘Let me go now.’ And he (Musa) asked his Lord to bring him within a stone’s throw of the Holy Land, the distance of a stone’s throw. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘If I were there, I would show you his grave, beside the road beneath a red dune.” (Sahih)
