حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا زَکَرِيَّائُ عَنْ عَامِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَی اللَّهُ عَنْهُ

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr: The Prophet said, "A Muslim is the one who avoids harming Muslims with his tongue or his hands. And a Muhajir (an emigrant) is the one who gives up (abandons) all what Allah has forbidden."

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "If you knew that which I know you would laugh little and weep much."

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "The (Hell) Fire is surrounded by all kinds of desires and passions, while Paradise is surrounded by all kinds of disliked undesirable things."

Narrated `Abdullah: The Prophet said, "Paradise is nearer to any of you than the Shirak (leather strap) of his shoe, and so is the (Hell) Fire.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "The truest poetic verse ever said by a poet, is: Indeed! Everything except Allah, is perishable."

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِکٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا نَظَرَ أَحَدُکُمْ إِلَی مَنْ فُضِّلَ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْمَالِ وَالْخَلْقِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَی مَنْ هُوَ أَسْفَلَ مِنْهُ

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "If anyone of you looked at a person who was made superior to him in property and (in good) appearance, then he should also look at the one who is inferior to him.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْدُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَجَائٍ الْعُطَارِدِيُّ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيمَا يَرْوِي عَنْ رَبِّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ کَتَبَ الْحَسَنَاتِ وَالسَّيِّئَاتِ ثُمَّ بَيَّنَ ذَلِکَ فَمَنْ هَمَّ بِحَسَنَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا کَتَبَهَا اللَّهُ لَهُ عِنْدَهُ حَسَنَةً کَامِلَةً فَإِنْ هُوَ هَمَّ بِهَا فَعَمِلَهَا کَتَبَهَا اللَّهُ لَهُ عِنْدَهُ عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ إِلَی سَبْعِ مِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ إِلَی أَضْعَافٍ کَثِيرَةٍ وَمَنْ هَمَّ بِسَيِّئَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا کَتَبَهَا اللَّهُ لَهُ عِنْدَهُ حَسَنَةً کَامِلَةً فَإِنْ هُوَ هَمَّ بِهَا فَعَمِلَهَا کَتَبَهَا اللَّهُ لَهُ سَيِّئَةً وَاحِدَةً

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet narrating about his Lord I'm and said, "Allah ordered (the appointed angels over you) that the good and the bad deeds be written, and He then showed (the way) how (to write). If somebody intends to do a good deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write for him a full good deed (in his account with Him); and if he intends to do a good deed and actually did it, then Allah will write for him (in his account) with Him (its reward equal) from ten to seven hundred times to many more times: and if somebody intended to do a bad deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write a full good deed (in his account) with Him, and if he intended to do it (a bad deed) and actually did it, then Allah will write one bad deed (in his account) ."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ عَنْ غَيْلَانَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ إِنَّکُمْ لَتَعْمَلُونَ أَعْمَالًا هِيَ أَدَقُّ فِي أَعْيُنِکُمْ مِنْ الشَّعَرِ إِنْ کُنَّا لَنَعُدُّهَا عَلَی عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الْمُوبِقَاتِ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ يَعْنِي بِذَلِکَ الْمُهْلِکَاتِ

Narrated Ghailan: Anas said "You people do (bad) deeds (commit sins) which seem in your eyes as tiny (minute) than hair while we used to consider those (very deeds) during the life-time of the Prophet as destructive sins."

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ الْأَلْهَانِيُّ الْحِمْصِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ قَالَ نَظَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَی رَجُلٍ يُقَاتِلُ الْمُشْرِکِينَ وَکَانَ مِنْ أَعْظَمِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ غَنَائً عَنْهُمْ فَقَالَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَی رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَی هَذَا فَتَبِعَهُ رَجُلٌ فَلَمْ يَزَلْ عَلَی ذَلِکَ حَتَّی جُرِحَ فَاسْتَعْجَلَ الْمَوْتَ فَقَالَ بِذُبَابَةِ سَيْفِهِ فَوَضَعَهُ بَيْنَ ثَدْيَيْهِ فَتَحَامَلَ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّی خَرَجَ مِنْ بَيْنِ کَتِفَيْهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ لَيَعْمَلُ فِيمَا يَرَی النَّاسُ عَمَلَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَيَعْمَلُ فِيمَا يَرَی النَّاسُ عَمَلَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِخَوَاتِيمِهَا

Narrated Sa`d bin Sahl As-Sa`idi: The Prophet looked at a man fighting against the pagans and he was one of the most competent persons fighting on behalf of the Muslims. The Prophet said, "Let him who wants to look at a man from the dwellers of the (Hell) Fire, look at this (man)." Another man followed him and kept on following him till he (the fighter) was injured and, seeking to die quickly, he placed the blade tip of his sword between his breasts and leaned over it till it passed through his shoulders (i.e., committed suicide)." The Prophet added, "A person may do deeds that seem to the people as the deeds of the people of Paradise while in fact, he is from the dwellers of the (Hell) Fire: and similarly a person may do deeds that seem to the people as the deeds of the people of the (Hell) Fire while in fact, he is from the dwellers of Paradise. Verily, the (results of) deeds done, depend upon the last actions."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَائُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عَطَائِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ جَائَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَی النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ قَالَ رَجُلٌ جَاهَدَ بِنَفْسِهِ وَمَالِهِ وَرَجُلٌ فِي شِعْبٍ مِنْ الشِّعَابِ يَعْبُدُ رَبَّهُ وَيَدَعُ النَّاسَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ تَابَعَهُ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ کَثِيرٍ وَالنُّعْمَانُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ وَقَالَ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَطَائٍ أَوْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ يُونُسُ وَابْنُ مُسَافِرٍ وَيَحْيَی بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَطَائٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يعنی مثل حديث ابی اليمان اي الناس خير

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: A bedouin came to the Prophet and said, "O Allah's Apostle! Who is the best of mankind!" The Prophet said, "A man who strives for Allah's Cause with his life and property, and also a man who lives (all alone) in a mountain path among the mountain paths to worship his Lord and save the people from his evil."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْمَاجِشُونُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يَأْتِي عَلَی النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ خَيْرُ مَالِ الرَّجُلِ الْمُسْلِمِ الْغَنَمُ يَتْبَعُ بِهَا شَعَفَ الْجِبَالِ وَمَوَاقِعَ الْقَطْرِ يَفِرُّ بِدِينِهِ مِنْ الْفِتَنِ

Narrated Abu Sa`id: I heard from the Prophet saying, "There will come a time upon the people when the best property of a Muslim will be sheep which he will take to the tops of mountains and to the places of rainfall, run away with his religion (in order to save it) from afflictions."
