حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ عَنْ الْبَرَائِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا فُلَانُ إِذَا أَوَيْتَ إِلَی فِرَاشِکَ فَقُلْ اللَّهُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي إِلَيْکَ وَوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَيْکَ وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي إِلَيْکَ وَأَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْکَ رَغْبَةً وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْکَ لَا مَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجَا مِنْکَ إِلَّا إِلَيْکَ آمَنْتُ بِکِتَابِکَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَ وَبِنَبِيِّکَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ فَإِنَّکَ إِنْ مُتَّ فِي لَيْلَتِکَ مُتَّ عَلَی الْفِطْرَةِ وَإِنْ أَصْبَحْتَ أَصَبْتَ أَجْرًا

Narrated Al-Bara' bin `Azib: Allah's Apostle said, "O so-and-so, whenever you go to your bed (for sleeping) say, 'O Allah! I have surrendered myself over to you and have turned my face towards You, and leave all my affairs to You and depend on You and put my trust in You expecting Your reward and fearing Your punishment. There is neither fleeing from You nor refuge but with You. I believe in the Book (Qur'an) which You have revealed and in Your Prophet (Muhammad) whom You have sent.' If you then die on that night, then you will die as a Muslim, and if you wake alive in the morning then you will receive the reward." (See Hadith No. 323, Vol. 8)

الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ← أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الهَمْدَانِيُّ، ← أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، ← مُسَدَّدٌ

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَی قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ اللَّهُمَّ مُنْزِلَ الْکِتَابِ سَرِيعَ الْحِسَابِ اهْزِمْ الْأَحْزَابَ وَزَلْزِلْ بِهِمْ زَادَ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Narrated `Abdullah bin Abi `Aufa: Allah's Apostle said on the Day of (the battle of) the Clans, "O Allah! The Revealer of the Holy Book, The Quick Taker of Accounts! Defeat the clans and shake them."

عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، ← إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، ← سُفْيَانَ، ← قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا وَلَا تَجْهَرْ بِصَلَاتِکَ وَلَا تُخَافِتْ بِهَا قَالَ أُنْزِلَتْ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُتَوَارٍ بِمَکَّةَ فَکَانَ إِذَا رَفَعَ صَوْتَهُ سَمِعَ الْمُشْرِکُونَ فَسَبُّوا الْقُرْآنَ وَمَنْ أَنْزَلَهُ وَمَنْ جَائَ بِهِ فَقَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَی وَلَا تَجْهَرْ بِصَلَاتِکَ وَلَا تُخَافِتْ بِهَا لَا تَجْهَرْ بِصَلَاتِکَ حَتَّی يَسْمَعَ الْمُشْرِکُونَ وَلَا تُخَافِتْ بِهَا عَنْ أَصْحَابِکَ فَلَا تُسْمِعُهُمْ وَابْتَغِ بَيْنَ ذَلِکَ سَبِيلًا أَسْمِعْهُمْ وَلَا تَجْهَرْ حَتَّی يَأْخُذُوا عَنْکَ الْقُرْآنَ

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: (regarding the Verse):-- 'Neither say your prayer aloud, nor say it in a low tone.' (17.110) This Verse was revealed while Allah's Apostle was hiding himself in Mecca, and when he raised his voice while reciting the Qur'an, the pagans would hear him and abuse the Qur'an and its Revealer and to the one who brought it. So Allah said:-- 'Neither say your prayer aloud, nor say it in a low tone.' (17.110) That is, 'Do not say your prayer so loudly that the pagans can hear you, nor say it in such a low tone that your companions do not hear you.' But seek a middle course between those (extremes), i.e., let your companions hear, but do not relate the Qur'an loudly, so that they may learn it from you.

ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ بِهَا، ← سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، ← أَبِي بِشْرٍ، ← هُشَيْمٌ، ← مُسَدَّدٌ

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَی يُؤْذِينِي ابْنُ آدَمَ يَسُبُّ الدَّهْرَ وَأَنَا الدَّهْرُ بِيَدِي الْأَمْرُ أُقَلِّبُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Allah said: "The son of Adam hurts Me by abusing Time, for I am Time; in My Hands are all things and I cause the revolution of night and day.' " (See Hadith No. 351, Vol. 6)

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ← سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، ← الزُّهْرِيِّ، ← سُفْيَانَ، ← الْحُمَيْدِيُّ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ يَدَعُ شَهْوَتَهُ وَأَکْلَهُ وَشُرْبَهُ مِنْ أَجْلِي وَالصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ وَلِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ فَرْحَةٌ حِينَ يُفْطِرُ وَفَرْحَةٌ حِينَ يَلْقَی رَبَّهُ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْکِ

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Allah said: The Fast is for Me and I will give the reward for it, as he (the one who observes the fast) leaves his sexual desire, food and drink for My Sake. Fasting is a screen (from Hell) and there are two pleasures for a fasting person, one at the time of breaking his fast, and the other at the time when he will meet his Lord. And the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better in Allah's Sight than the smell of musk." (See Hadith No. 128, Vol. 3).

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ← اَبِیْ صَالِحٍ ← الْاَعْمَشِ ← أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ،

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا أَيُّوبُ يَغْتَسِلُ عُرْيَانًا خَرَّ عَلَيْهِ رِجْلُ جَرَادٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَجَعَلَ يَحْثِي فِي ثَوْبِهِ فَنَادَى رَبُّهُ يَا أَيُّوبُ أَلَمْ أَكُنْ أَغْنَيْتُكَ عَمَّا تَرَى قَالَ بَلَى يَا رَبِّ وَلَكِنْ لَا غِنَى بِي عَنْ بَرَكَتِكَ

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Once while Job (Aiyub) was taking a bath in a naked state. Suddenly a great number of gold locusts started falling upon him and he started collecting them in his clothes. His Lord called him, 'O Job! Didn't I make you rich enough to dispense with what you see now?' Job said, 'Yes, O Lord! But I cannot dispense with Your Blessings.'

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ← هَمَّامٌ، ← مَعْمَرٌ، ← عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ← عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ،

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِکٌ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَغَرِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَنْزِلُ رَبُّنَا تَبَارَکَ وَتَعَالَی کُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَی السَّمَائِ الدُّنْيَا حِينَ يَبْقَی ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْآخِرُ فَيَقُولُ مَنْ يَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ مَنْ يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ مَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Every night when it is the last third of the night, our Lord, the Superior, the Blessed, descends to the nearest heaven and says: Is there anyone to invoke Me that I may respond to his invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone asking My forgiveness so that I may forgive him?. " (See Hadith No. 246,Vol. 2)

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ← أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَغَرِّ ← ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ← مَالِكٍ، ← إِسْمَاعِيلَ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ أَنَّ الْأَعْرَجَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ نَحْنُ الْآخِرُونَ السَّابِقُونَ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "We (Muslims) are the last (to come) but will be the foremost on the Day of Resurrection."

أَبُو الزِّنَادٍ ← شُعَيْبٌ ← أبو اليمان

وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَنْفِقْ أُنْفِقْ عَلَيْکَ

The narrators of this Hadith said: Allah said (to man), 'Spend (in charity), for then I will compensate you (generously).' "

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ هَذِهِ خَدِيجَةُ أَتَتْکَ بِإِنَائٍ فِيهِ طَعَامٌ أَوْ إِنَائٍ فِيهِ شَرَابٌ فَأَقْرِئْهَا مِنْ رَبِّهَا السَّلَامَ وَبَشِّرْهَا بِبَيْتٍ مِنْ قَصَبٍ لَا صَخَبَ فِيهِ وَلَا نَصَبَ

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said that Gabriel said, "Here is Khadija coming to you with a dish of food or a tumbler containing something to drink. Convey to her a greeting from her Lord (Allah) and give her the glad tidings that she will have a palace in Paradise built of Qasab wherein there will be neither any noise nor any fatigue (trouble)." (See Hadith No. 168, Vol. 5)

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ← أَبِي زُرْعَةَ ← عُمَارَةَ، ← ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، ← زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ،

حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَعْدَدْتُ لِعِبَادِي الصَّالِحِينَ مَا لَا عَيْنٌ رَأَتْ وَلَا أُذُنٌ سَمِعَتْ وَلَا خَطَرَ عَلَی قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ

Narrated Abu Huraira: the Prophet said, "Allah said, "I have prepared for My righteous slaves (such excellent things) as no eye has ever seen, nor an ear has ever heard nor a human heart can ever think of.' "

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ← هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ ← مَعْمَرٌ، ← عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ← مُعَاذُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ،

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَحْوَلُ أَنَّ طَاوُسًا أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ کَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا تَهَجَّدَ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ لَکَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ أَنْتَ الْحَقُّ وَوَعْدُکَ الْحَقُّ وَقَوْلُکَ الْحَقُّ وَلِقَاؤُکَ الْحَقُّ وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ وَالنَّبِيُّونَ حَقٌّ وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ اللَّهُمَّ لَکَ أَسْلَمْتُ وَبِکَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْکَ تَوَکَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْکَ أَنَبْتُ وَبِکَ خَاصَمْتُ وَإِلَيْکَ حَاکَمْتُ فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ أَنْتَ إِلَهِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Whenever the Prophet offered the night (Tahajjud) prayer, he used to say, "O Allah! All the Praises are for You; You are the Light of the Heavens and the Earth. And all the Praises are for You; You are the Keeper of the Heavens and the Earth. All the Praises are for You; You are the Lord of the Heavens and the Earth and whatever is therein. You are the Truth, and Your Promise is the Truth, and Your Speech is the Truth, and meeting You is the Truth, and Paradise is the Truth and Hell (Fire) is the Truth and all the prophets are the Truth and the Hour is the Truth. O Allah! I surrender to You, and believe in You, and depend upon You, and repent to You, and in Your cause I fight and with Your orders I rule. So please forgive my past and future sins and those sins which I did in secret or in public. It is You Whom I worship, None has the right to be worshipped except You ." (See Hadith No. 329,Vol. 8)

سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلِ، ← ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، ← عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ← مَحْمُودٌ،
