Sahih Bukhari

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ فِرْقَتَيْنِ

Narrated `Abdullah: The Prophet used to recite: 'Is there any that remember? And a furious wind (plucking out men) as if they were uprooted stems of palm trees, then how terrible was My punishment and My warnings!' (54.20-21)

عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ← الْأَسْوَدِ، ← أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ← شُعْبَةُ ← يَحْيَى ← مُسَدَّدٌ

حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ کَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّکِرٍ

Narrated Abu 'Is-haq: A man asked Al-Aswad, 'is it 'Fahal min-Muddakir' or'..Mudhdhakir?" Al Aswad replied, 'I have heard `Abdullah bin Masud reciting it, 'Fahal-min Muddakir'; I too, heard the Prophet reciting it 'Fahal-min-Muddakir' with 'd'.

أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ← زُهَيْرٍ ← أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ،

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ عَنْ يَحْيَی عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّه کَانَ يَقْرَأُ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّکِرٍ

Narrated `Abdullah: The Prophet recited: 'Fahal-min-Muddakir' "And Verily an abiding torment seized them early in the morning So, taste you My torment and My warnings' (54.38-39)

عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ← الْأَسْوَدِ، ← أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ← شُعْبَةُ ← أَبِي ← عَبْدَانُ،

حدثنا ابونعیم حدثنا زہیر عن ابی اسحاق انہ سمع رجلا سال الاسود فھل من مدکر اومذکر فقال سمعت عبداللہ یقرؤھا فھل من مدکر قال وسمعت النبی صلی اللہ علیہ یقرؤھا فھل من مدکر دالا

Narrated `Abdullah: The Prophet recited: 'Fahal-min Muddakir': 'And verily, We have destroyed nations like unto you; then is there any that will receive admonition?' (54.51)

عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ← الْأَسْوَدِ، ← أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ← شُعْبَةُ ← غُنْدَرٌ، ← مُحَمَّدٍ

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبِي عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّکِرٍ الْآيَةَ

Narrated `Abdullah: I recited before the Prophet 'Fahal-min-Mudhdhakir'. The Prophet said, "It is Fahal-min Muddakir."

عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ← الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، ← أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ← اِسْرَائِیْلُ ← وَكِيعٌ، ← يَحْيَى

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّکِرٍ

Narrated `Abbas: Allah's Messenger while in a tent on the day of the Battle of Badr, said, "O Allah! I request you (to fulfill) Your promise and contract! O Allah! If You wish that you will not be worshipped henceforth.." On that Abu Bakr held the Prophet by the hand and said, "That is enough, O Allah's Messenger You have appealed to your Lord too pressingly," while the Prophet was putting on his armor. So Allah's Messenger went out, reciting Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs.' (54.45)

ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ← عِكْرِمَةَ ← خَالِدٌ، ← وُهَيْبٌ، ← عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ← مُحَمَّدٍ ← ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ← عِكْرِمَةَ ← خَالِدٌ، ← عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ،

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَی النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُذَّکِرٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّکِرٍ

Narrated Yusuf bin Mahik: I was in the house of `Aisha, the mother of the Believers. She said, "This revelation: "Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense); and the Hour will be more previous and most bitter." (54.46) was revealed to Muhammad at Mecca while I was a playfull little girl."

حَدَّثَنَي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ح و حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ وُهَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَهُوَ فِي قُبَّةٍ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَنْشُدُکَ عَهْدَکَ وَوَعْدَکَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ تَشَأْ لَا تُعْبَدْ بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ فَأَخَذَ أَبُو بَکْرٍ بِيَدِهِ فَقَالَ حَسْبُکَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلْحَحْتَ عَلَی رَبِّکَ وَهُوَ يَثِبُ فِي الدِّرْعِ فَخَرَجَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ سَيُهْزَمُ الْجَمْعُ وَيُوَلُّونَ الدُّبُرَ بَلْ السَّاعَةُ مَوْعِدُهُمْ وَالسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَی وَأَمَرُّ

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: While in his tent on the day the Battle of Badr, the Prophet said, "O Allah! I request You (to fulfill) Your promise and contract. O Allah! It You wish that the Believers be destroyed). You will never be worshipped henceforth." On that, Abu Bakr held the Prophet by the hand and said, "That is enough, O Allah's Messenger ! You have appealed to your Lord too pressingly" The Prophet was wearing his armor and then went out reciting: 'Their multitude will be put to flight and they will show their backs. Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more previous and most bitter.' (54.45-46)

ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ← عِكْرِمَةَ ← خَالِدٌ، ← خَالِدٌ، ← إِسْحَاقُ

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَی حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أَنَّ ابْنَ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَهُمْ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ مَاهَکٍ قَالَ إِنِّي عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَتْ لَقَدْ أُنْزِلَ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَکَّةَ وَإِنِّي لَجَارِيَةٌ أَلْعَبُ بَلْ السَّاعَةُ مَوْعِدُهُمْ وَالسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَی وَأَمَرُّ

Narrated `Abdullah bin Qais: Allah's Messenger said, "Two gardens, the utensils and the contents of which are of silver, and two other gardens, the utensils and contents of which are of gold. And nothing will prevent the people who will be in the Garden of Eden from seeing their Lord except the curtain of Majesty over His Face."

أَبِيهِ ← أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، ← أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ ← عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ الْعَمِّيُّ، ← عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ،

حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَهُوَ فِي قُبَّةٍ لَهُ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ أَنْشُدُکَ عَهْدَکَ وَوَعْدَکَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ شِئْتَ لَمْ تُعْبَدْ بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ أَبَدًا فَأَخَذَ أَبُو بَکْرٍ بِيَدِهِ وَقَالَ حَسْبُکَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ أَلْحَحْتَ عَلَی رَبِّکَ وَهُوَ فِي الدِّرْعِ فَخَرَجَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ سَيُهْزَمُ الْجَمْعُ وَيُوَلُّونَ الدُّبُرَ بَلْ السَّاعَةُ مَوْعِدُهُمْ وَالسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَی وَأَمَرُّ

Narrated `Abdullah bin Qais: Allah's Messenger said, "In Paradise there is a pavilion made of a single hollow pearl sixty miles wide, in each corner of which there are wives who will not see those in the other corners; and the believers will visit and enjoy them. And there are two gardens, the utensils and contents of which are made of silver; and two other gardens, the utensils and contents of which are made of so-and-so (i.e. gold) and nothing will prevent the people staying in the Garden of Eden from seeing their Lord except the curtain of Majesty over His Face."

أَبِيهِ ← أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، ← أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ ← عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ، ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى،

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ الْعَمِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي بَکْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ جَنَّتَانِ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ آنِيَتُهُمَا وَمَا فِيهِمَا وَجَنَّتَانِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ آنِيَتُهُمَا وَمَا فِيهِمَا وَمَا بَيْنَ الْقَوْمِ وَبَيْنَ أَنْ يَنْظُرُوا إِلَی رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا رِدَائُ الْکِبْرِ عَلَی وَجْهِهِ فِي جَنَّةِ عَدْنٍ

أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ ← عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ الْعَمِّيُّ، ← عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ،

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي بَکْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْمَةً مِنْ لُؤْلُؤَةٍ مُجَوَّفَةٍ عَرْضُهَا سِتُّونَ مِيلًا فِي کُلِّ زَاوِيَةٍ مِنْهَا أَهْلٌ مَا يَرَوْنَ الْآخَرِينَ يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَجَنَّتَانِ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ آنِيَتُهُمَا وَمَا فِيهِمَا وَجَنَّتَانِ مِنْ کَذَا آنِيَتُهُمَا وَمَا فِيهِمَا وَمَا بَيْنَ الْقَوْمِ وَبَيْنَ أَنْ يَنْظُرُوا إِلَی رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا رِدَائُ الْکِبْرِ عَلَی وَجْهِهِ فِي جَنَّةِ عَدْنٍ

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "In Paradise there is a tree which is so big that a rider can travel in its shade for one hundred years without passing it; and if you wish, you can recite: 'In shade long extended.' 56.30.
