حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ لَمْ أَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَلِمُ مِنْ الْبَيْتِ إِلَّا الرُّکْنَيْنِ الْيَمَانِيَيْنِ

Narrated Salim bin `Abdullah that his father said: "I have not seen the Prophet touching except the two Yemenite Corners (i.e. the ones facing Yemen)."

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا وَرْقَائُ أَخْبَرَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَبَّلَ الْحَجَرَ وَقَالَ لَوْلَا أَنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبَّلَکَ مَا قَبَّلْتُکَ

Narrated Zaid bin Aslam that his father said: "I saw `Umar bin Al-Khattab kissing the Black Stone and he then said, (to it) 'Had I not seen Allah's Apostle kissing you, (stone) I would not have kissed you.' "

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنْ اسْتِلَامِ الْحَجَرِ فَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَلِمُهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ زُحِمْتُ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ غُلِبْتُ قَالَ اجْعَلْ أَرَأَيْتَ بِالْيَمَنِ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَلِمُهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ وقال محمد بن يوسف الفريري وجدت في کتاب ابی جعفر قال ابوعبدالله الزبيربن عدی کوفی والزبيربن عربی بصری

Narrated Az-Zubair bin 'Arabi: A man asked Ibn `Umar about the touching of the Black Stone. Ibn `Umar said, "I saw Allah's Apostle touching and kissing it." The questioner said, "But if there were a throng (much rush) round the Ka`ba and the people overpowered me, (what would I do?)" He replied angrily, "Stay in Yemen (as that man was from Yemen). I saw Allah's Apostle touching and kissing it."

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ طَافَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْبَيْتِ عَلَی بَعِيرٍ کُلَّمَا أَتَی عَلَی الرُّکْنِ أَشَارَ إِلَيْهِ بشیئ

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba while riding a camel, and whenever he came in front of the Corner, he pointed towards it (with something).

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba riding a camel, and every time he came in front of the Corner (having the Black Stone), he pointed towards it with something he had with him and said Takbir.

حَدَّثَنَا أَصْبَغُ عَنْ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ذَکَرْتُ لِعُرْوَةَ قَالَ فَأَخْبَرَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ أَوَّلَ شَيْئٍ بَدَأَ بِهِ حِينَ قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ تَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ طَافَ ثُمَّ لَمْ تَکُنْ عُمْرَةً ثُمَّ حَجَّ أَبُو بَکْرٍ وَعُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا مِثْلَهُ ثُمَّ حَجَجْتُ مَعَ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَأَوَّلُ شَيْئٍ بَدَأَ بِهِ الطَّوَافُ ثُمَّ رَأَيْتُ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارَ يَفْعَلُونَهُ وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَتْنِي أُمِّي أَنَّهَا أَهَلَّتْ هِيَ وَأُخْتُهَا وَالزُّبَيْرُ وَفُلَانٌ وَفُلَانٌ بِعُمْرَةٍ فَلَمَّا مَسَحُوا الرُّکْنَ حَلُّوا

Narrated `Urwa: `Aisha said, "The first thing the Prophet did on reaching Mecca, was the ablution and then he performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba and that was not `Umra (alone), (but Hajj-al-Qiran). `Urwa added: Later Abu Bakr and `Umar did the same in their Hajj." And I performed the Hajj with my father Az- Zubair, and the first thing he did was Tawaf of the Ka`ba. Later I saw the Muhajirin (Emigrants) and the Ansar doing the same. My mother (Asma') told me that she, her sister (`Aisha), Az-Zubair and such and such persons assumed Ihram for `Umra, and after they passed their hands over the Black Stone Corner (of the Ka`ba) they finished the Ihram. (i.e. After doing Tawaf of the Ka`ba and Sa`i between Safa-Marwa.

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ أَنَسٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَی بْنُ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ إِذَا طَافَ فِي الْحَجِّ أَوْ الْعُمْرَةِ أَوَّلَ مَا يَقْدَمُ سَعَی ثَلَاثَةَ أَطْوَافٍ وَمَشَی أَرْبَعَةً ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يَطُوفُ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ إِذَا طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ الطَّوَافَ الْأَوَّلَ يَخُبُّ ثَلَاثَةَ أَطْوَافٍ وَيَمْشِي أَرْبَعَةً وَأَنَّهُ کَانَ يَسْعَی بَطْنَ الْمَسِيلِ إِذَا طَافَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: When Allah's Apostle performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba for Hajj or `Umra, he used to do Ramal during the first three rounds, and in the last four rounds he used to walk; then after the Tawaf he used to offer two rak`at and then performed Tawaf between Safa and Marwa.

و قَالَ لِي عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنَا قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ إِذْ مَنَعَ ابْنُ هِشَامٍ النِّسَاءَ الطَّوَافَ مَعَ الرِّجَالِ قَالَ كَيْفَ يَمْنَعُهُنَّ وَقَدْ طَافَ نِسَاءُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَ الرِّجَالِ قُلْتُ أَبَعْدَ الْحِجَابِ أَوْ قَبْلُ قَالَ إِي لَعَمْرِي لَقَدْ أَدْرَكْتُهُ بَعْدَ الْحِجَابِ قُلْتُ كَيْفَ يُخَالِطْنَ الرِّجَالَ قَالَ لَمْ يَكُنَّ يُخَالِطْنَ كَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا تَطُوفُ حَجْرَةً مِنْ الرِّجَالِ لَا تُخَالِطُهُمْ فَقَالَتْ امْرَأَةٌ انْطَلِقِي نَسْتَلِمْ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَتْ انْطَلِقِي عَنْكِ وَأَبَتْ يَخْرُجْنَ مُتَنَكِّرَاتٍ بِاللَّيْلِ فَيَطُفْنَ مَعَ الرِّجَالِ وَلَكِنَّهُنَّ كُنَّ إِذَا دَخَلْنَ الْبَيْتَ قُمْنَ حَتَّى يَدْخُلْنَ وَأُخْرِجَ الرِّجَالُ وَكُنْتُ آتِي عَائِشَةَ أَنَا وَعُبَيْدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ وَهِيَ مُجَاوِرَةٌ فِي جَوْفِ ثَبِيرٍ قُلْتُ وَمَا حِجَابُهَا قَالَ هِيَ فِي قُبَّةٍ تُرْكِيَّةٍ لَهَا غِشَاءٌ وَمَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهَا غَيْرُ ذَلِكَ وَرَأَيْتُ عَلَيْهَا دِرْعًا مُوَرَّدًا

Narrated Ibn `Umar: When the Prophet performed the Tawaf of the Ka`ba, he did Ramal during the first three rounds and in the last four rounds he used to walk and while doing Tawaf between Safa and Marwa, he used to run in the midst of the rain water passage.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِکٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ شَکَوْتُ إِلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنِّي أَشْتَکِي فَقَالَ طُوفِي مِنْ وَرَائِ النَّاسِ وَأَنْتِ رَاکِبَةٌ فَطُفْتُ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَئِذٍ يُصَلِّي إِلَی جَنْبِ الْبَيْتِ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ وَالطُّورِ وَکِتَابٍ مَسْطُورٍ

Ibn Juraij said, " 'Ata informed us that when Ibn Hisham forbade women to perform Tawaf with men he said to him, 'How do you forbid them while the wives of the Prophet (saws) used to perform Tawaf with the men ?' I said, 'Was this before decreeing of the use of the veil or after it ? 'Ata took an oath and said, 'I saw it after the order of veil.' I said, 'How did they mix with the men?' 'Ata said, 'The women never mixed with the men, and 'Aishah used to perform Tawaf separately and never mixed with men. Once it happened that 'Aishah was performing the Tawaf and woman said to her, 'O Mother of believers! Let us touch the Black stone.' 'Aishah said to her, 'Go yourself,' and she herself refused to do so. The wives of the Prophet (saws) used to come out in night, in disguise and used to perform Tawaf with men. But whenever they intended to enter the Ka'bah, they would stay outside till the men had gone out. I and 'Ubaid bin 'Umair used to visit 'Aishah while she was residing at Jauf Thabir." I asked, "What was her veil?" 'Ata said, "She was wearing and old turkish veil, and that was the only thing (weal) which was screen between us and her. I saw a pink cover on her."

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَی حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ أَنَّ ابْنَ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَهُمْ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَحْوَلُ أَنَّ طَاوُسًا أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْکَعْبَةِ بِإِنْسَانٍ رَبَطَ يَدَهُ إِلَی إِنْسَانٍ بِسَيْرٍ أَوْ بِخَيْطٍ أَوْ بِشَيْئٍ غَيْرِ ذَلِکَ فَقَطَعَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ قُدْهُ بِيَدِهِ

Narrated Um Salama: (the wife of the Prophet) I informed Allah's Apostle that I was ill. So he said, "Perform the Tawaf while riding behind the people." I did so, and at that time the Prophet was praying beside the Ka`ba and reciting Surat-at-Tur.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَی رَجُلًا يَطُوفُ بِالْکَعْبَةِ بِزِمَامٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ فَقَطَعَهُ

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: While the Prophet was performing Tawaf of the Ka`ba, he passed by a person who had tied his hands to another person with a rope or string or something like that. The Prophet cut it with his own hands and said, "Lead him by the hand."
